Billing practices invalid
Last year a doctor I had just started seeing prescribed a CPAP unit for "therapy" after hastily requesting the work. The unit itself worked fine, however the mask was uncomfortable and I was assured numerous times by the local office in Colorado Springs on Forge Street that all of my requests would be handled. I made repeated attempts to get the company's help in finding a new mask, following their policies and procedures, and in EVERY case, I was told that it couldn't be done. Before a month had lapsed on the equipment, I returned it, in person, to the receptionist and left. I owe NOTHING for this device since I received NOTHING in return. Well, except harassing phone calls and a "bill" that continues to rise because they falsely assume, even after I had dropped the equipment off, that I am still somehow using it. How the [redacted] does that work? Health"care" is a [redacted] ripoff.
