A Midsummer Catering

I hired [redacted] to cater my wedding on 6-9-12.She was to show up at 1 p.m. for a 4 p.m. wedding start time. She didnt show up till 3 p.m. She had 24 tables to set, dinner to start cooking, hors deouvres to prepare, and all the other things that go into a wedding. Had the manager of the wedding venue not called [redacted] at 2:30 to tell her to get there, we only could have guess when she would have arrived. The weather was bad, and we lost nearly 60 people following the ceremony but [redacted] still ran out of food for my guest she would have ran out long before if the weather was perfect. Her staff didnt use gloves they had a communal pots of noodles floating in water, and each chef took his bare hands into that water. They also wiped their hands on their pants. The childs buffet had frozen chicken nuggets. Because of her lack of attention, and inability to plan correctly, I lost my photographer before the major reception photos were taken. No cake cutting, no father/daughter dance, no groom/bride dance, no bouquet toss, no garter toss. All lost, and cant be recreated. When asked for a fraction of a discount, she had every excuse in the world, and refuses to refund the small amount I have asked for considering the 6K she made from this wedding. I would like you to try and educate her that this isnt the way to treat people, and certainly not a way to run a business. My guests were greeted by rude chefs, that threw food, used their bare hands, and complained "that the bride wasnt happy" to my guests. My guests didnt need to know this...I was keeping this from my guests. But they felt it was necessary to tell everyone. The venue was even unhappy and the owner told me, that [redacted] and her catering not allowed back there. She is unwilling to settle this fairly, knowing that she was late, and the chain reaction of events it caused.
