Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because it is simply a copy of Ms [redacted] 's first letter I reject it for the reasons stated in my prior response to that letter We would very much like to resolve this issue, but Ms [redacted] is simply trying to rewrite the contract after the fact in violation of the notice provisions of the contract and at a monthly charge that is inconsistent with her own prior bills, including one first sent to us on July 14, 2015, and then resent to us just last week Regards, [redacted]

Good morning,On 12/29/Mr*** started renting unit Jwith us. Mr*** elected to have his payments on auto draft. His monthly payments were drafted from his credit card on the 1st of every monthOn 5/22/I was doing my morning walk through of the property and noticed
that his unit door was open and his lock was cut and on the groundI closed his unit and secured it with a red lockI called the number on file for Mr***I was unable to speak with him and the notes I entered into his account state that I left a message for him to call me back. On 7/1/I mailed out Rate Increase Notices to ALL tenants of A Mini StorageI have received a handful of those letters back with various reason of why USPS could not deliver them. None of those letters returned were from Mr***On 9/29/I mailed out a Mandatory Insurance Notice to ALL tenantsAgain, I received letters with various reason USPS could not deliver themNone of those were from Mr***On 12/18/Mr *** appeared in my office and asked why there was a red lock on his unitHe was not happy and his behavior and attitude reflected thatI did not immediately remember him so I looked up his account and read the notes I had postedI read the information and explained to Mr*** what had happenedHis behavior worsened and he started saying I was lying about calling him on 5/22/He asked why his payments had increased from the original to and now to 57.00. I explained the rate increase of and the notice I mailed out for itI also explained the mandatory insurance fee and the notice I mailed out for itAgain he accused me of lying and said that I never called him nor did I mail him a letter. I pulled the stack of returned letters from USPS out and went through everyone of them in front of Mr*** and showed him that none of the returned letters were from himI let him view the notes I posted to his account on 5/22/about his unit and the various ways I tried to contact him about it. He still was angry and unsatisfied of the answers I was giving himI told Mr*** that I would email him our phone records to prove that I called himOn 12/21/I emailed a copy of the phone records, a copy of his lease, and a copy of both notices I had already mailed to himOn 12/8/Mr*** called screaming at me that I did not ever call, mail, or email him anything and I am a liarI cussed at him and hung up the phoneMr*** then called Uhaul and told them what he was mad about and Uhaul called me. There is nothing Uhaul can do because it is only there payment system that we use not there management programBasically Uhaul has nothing to do with how A Mini Storage is ranI blocked Mr*** from calling the main A Mini Storage number from his cell number because of the way he was behavingA Mini Storage will not be giving Mr*** a refund for any amount due to increases and mandatory insurance fees. His TSSA Lease states NO REFUNDS on it and also that A Mini Storage has a responsibility to notify the tenant via USPSIt is not A Mini Storage's responsibility to send those notices certified or to verify if the letter was received by tenantHis lease also states that in the event that A Mini Storage has to secure a tenant's unit with a red lock, for any reason, the tenant is responsible for the fees associated with locking it. Those fees for Mr*** having the red lock put on his unit 5/22/and not being removed until 12/28/are Mr *** has not been charged the 318.00. The amount Mr*** is disputing is 66.00. Again, A Mini Storage will not be refunding him any amount. A Mini Storage feels that it is very fair that we forgive the amount due to us and leave Mr*** account with a balance rather than him owe us. I am rejecting this response because:I contacted Revdex.com because I believe A-Mini Storage has acted unethically and are taking advantage of their customers.-My unit was broken into A-Mini Storage told me they called 5-22-according to their records to notify meI checked my cell phone and I did not receive any calls from them on that day or for the rest of the monthI was never maid aware of the $fee for this as well.-I was never notified of rate increasesI was told that information was sent to me, I have never received this information.-There was rat feces all over the items I stored at A-Mini Storage and the unit had weather damage.-I tried to close out my unit in December and A-Mini Storage did not and charged me for additional daysI was then sent an e-mail saying they where going to charge me for JanuaryI called back and told them to close out my unit I had already checked out all of my itemsThe A-Mini Storage representative said she would not close my unit and told me "** ** *** ***" At this point I did not know what my options where so I contacted TSSA they told me to contact Uhaul to see if they could cancel the account on their end and they also told me to contact Revdex.comSo that is what I did.-Please look at other reviews of A-Mini Storage on Yelp ***"*** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***" -Google reviews"*** ** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** * *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** * *** *** ***."-Please look into this company, according to Yelp and Google reviews A-Mini Storage takes advantage of some of their customersThe problems I have with A-Mini Storage seem to have happened to other people as well

In response to the letter from [redacted]. I'm sending a statement of the account. When she rented the amount was $127.00 per month. The first month was free, with a $15.00 fee. I did not know at the time the rent would increase. I sent notices. Many were returned. I did not know they...

lost the credit card. It was declined each time. Had I known about it I might could have helped - a little. I only do the office. I have to get permission to do enything else - Somethings I can do, some I can't.
