The mobile mechanic installed incompatible parts in my truck. The repair made the truck run for a week before it broke down again/had more issues.
Around 4-5 months ago (03/08/2018) The A+ mobile mechanic installed the wrong starter in my truck and then tried to re wire it at the solenoid on the fender wall. That repair and on the fly tinkering is NOT a suitable or acceptable means of fixing the issue. It caused more damage to my truck because of being incorrect. This repair was able to get the truck running for a very brief period of time, probably around a week or so until it failed again and caused more issues.
I tried calling & emailing A+ Mobile mechanics but it seems as though they went out of business. I'm out for the money I paid the mobile mechanic plus the cost of fixing his mistakes.
Overall, what should have been a $300 to $400 repair has turned into a $1,000-$1200 repair.
Refund for faulty work. I have proof that the component installed was wrong, as well as faulty wiring. I also have another mechanics statement backing up all of my claims. I paid A+ Mechanics $350 for the faulty repair. Also, due to the bad repair I have had to pay around $400-$700 to have their bad repair fixed, including needing to order new and correct parts and to have additional repairs done that were solely caused by the work A+ mechanics did.
