A Mobile TV Shop Reviews (1)
[redacted] was contacted to exam a tv that was not working. He told me his fee was $100 diagnostic and $28 trip fee, which I agreed to. It was stated that if repairs were made the diagnostic fee would be dropped. Diagnostics were completed and I was told it had a burnt out mother board and that it could be fixed for a fee of $500 plus $100 labor and tax. We discussed spending that much to repair my tv and decided it would be worth it becouse of the type of tv it is, I agreed upon $778.96 with $300 down to order part. Ten days later he came over with the part installed it and then told me it was not fixed. I was upset becouse I paid for diagnostics and that did not fix my tv. [redacted] said it had to be a surge becouse there was so much damage. My question is why was this not told to me in the first place? I said I wanted him to return the part for refund and I would contact my ins. He informed me that he could not return the part and tell the ins. come about the surge becouse he could not say he tried to repair it without the part in it. I trusted him becouse he told me he has been in business for 40 years and this is how it is done. I paid him the balance and he left. I contacted ins. and was told that is not how they do it. I needed to have diagnostics done and they would have said it was to much paid him for diagnostics and handled my claim from there. He told me they were wrong and that is not how it is done. I had the ins. call [redacted] and explain he told them they were wrong? What's up with that. I asked him to fax the bill to them so I could get a claim started. I bought a TV sent them the receipt and was informed that they had never received the bill. I contacted him and he said he could not do that becouse it would be ins. fraud. I called ins. and told them what was going on and they said they would take care of the claim becouse they understand what he is like after talking to him. I then asked him for nothing more than faxing the diagnostics fee I paid, he refused. There is more..
