This incident has no witnesses as our licensed driver did not damage this parked car [redacted] was not at home at the time of incidentIn her complaint she says she saw the truck and chased it down the streetThis is not true as she told us on the phone - she was not at homeIt was a street witness.We have taken steps to rectify this as soon as she reached out to us, but to lodge a complaint for something we are not even sure we are responsible for -and have not had time to investigate - is ridiculous.Our truck arrived early on the morning of and double parked for a customer's moveThe 14’ box truck was parked parallel to her carThere had been another delivery truck parked before our arrival so without definitive proof as to what happened, we are not liable for this damageUpon inspection, this truck did not have any damage on itNor did the licensed driver or crew members sitting in cab - see or hear any type of accident - or anyone "chasing them down the street"They would have stopped as we have a great honest, licensed crew.The complainant had a street witness who took photos showing our truck parked next to car with damage, but there is absolutely no witness we did the actual scratchWe have not seen any photos as of yet either to proof thisIf we did it - we will of course pay for any repair, but there is no proof yet to substantiate the claim.But to slander us as an unlicensed illegal company is libel and we do take that seriouslyWe are a fully licensed and insured moving company and have worked extremely hard for years building a stellar record with traffic accidents and only cargo claimA family run business that is based on our reputation and a very loyal customer base.We are awaiting what the investigation shows and our insurance company will move forward if found it was our mistake[redacted] US DOT# [redacted] • [redacted] • [redacted]
