This customer came into AMowers & More to purchase a lawn mower for herMowing BusinessAfter showing her a few mowers I told her that the mowers she wanted and was looking at was not a mower to be used in a professional wayThe mower was a consumer mower made to you use once or twice a week for your personal lawn and that she should really look at buying a professional mowerI showed her the professional mowers and the cheapest one we have is a Exmark for $and she told me she could not afford that kind of mower so I showed a [redacted] semi-commercial that sell for $and st the time she came in was on sale for $she still said she could not afford that mower eitherShe wanted the [redacted] consumer mower I had on sale for $so once again I told her this is not warranted for professional use but that I would work with her on warranty depending on what kind of problem with engine or what not she might haveShe came back to the shop a few days later and said the mower was having starting issues so I looked at the mower myself and adjusted the choke a little and the mower started every time for me so she was good and leftShe came back a week or so later and told me the mower would not start and that she wanted her money backI told her I would not give her money back but that I would look at and fix the problem of not starting for herAt that time she said no she wanted her money back and I once again told her the mower she bought was not a professional mower and not to be used as a professional mower and she was not getting a refund but I would fix the problem for her at no costShe left the store saying she did not want if fixed and that we could just keep itOnce I got done helping a customer me and my helper went to the mower and pulled the start rope and mower started right up and ran perfect so I let it set there for a few days and have started it up everyday since then and mower has started and run awesome every timeThere is nothing wrong with this mower the only thing wrong is she uses it as a professional mower and it’s not made for thatI personal have the same mower and have used it for the last years for mowing my lawn at home and have sold plenty of the same mower to customer for use as consumer mower because that is what it is a consumer mower not a professional mowerIn short there is nothing wrong with this mower it starts and runs just fine but is made to be used once a week in consumer use not to be used everyday from house to house as a professional mowerHer mower is sitting at the store so she can come get it and I will work with her if she has running issues just like I told her I would but I will not give her money back because she new what she was buying when she bought itI have a customer that I sold the same [redacted] mower to and an employee that witnessed this transaction I had with her and at no time was I miss leading or abrupt with herI hope this helps and I hope to work out any issues with the customer and get her mower back to her.Regards,David A KynastonStore & Shop managerTruck Auto Electric/AMowers & more
