Review: I went into the cleaners on January 27. A cat urinated on my coat and it was still wet and fresh. I asked the attendant could dry cleaning remove the urine stain and smell from my dry clean only coat. I was told repeatedly "yes." The attendant even noted the area that was still wet and she said she would treat it first. I asked the attendant if she was 100% positive that the urine smell would come out, and she again said yes. Because I was informed several times that the urine smell could come out, I allowed the company to dry clean my coat. However, upon picking up my coat, I insisted to look and smell my coat before paying. When I lifted the plastic, I was immediately met with a foul urine smell throughout my coat, with a note attached stating that the urine smell cannot be removed. I debated back-and-forth with a different attendant about how when I dropped off the coat I asked several times could the urine smell be removed and was told yes. The attendant called the lady to which I drop off my coat and the lady explained it through a text that she tried to remove the smell and was unsuccessful. She explained that she cleaned and deodorized it twice, but to no avail. Had the original attendant explained that there was no guarantee that the smell would come out, I would not have left my coat to be cleaned. But because I was lied to and deceived into believing that the smell would be removed, solely to get my business and earn extra revenue, I am very disgusted at this business. They offered no solution and stared blankly at me as if this was my problem. This business lied to me and I'm sure others. While I paid for the cleaning knowing I would formally complain, I would like to receive e refund for the coat cleaning which could not be cleaned, and the dry cleaner very well knew that.Desired Settlement: $8 refund for ineffective cleaning and deceptive business practices
