A N C Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Reviews (1)
On January 27 2013 I called ANC because my furnace had stopped working. The technician told me it was a bad thermocuple. On September 26, 20012 (four months earlier) I had ANC do and annual service on my furnace. At that time I was told that their was a bad thermocouple. This was replaced with a new one which cost $73.43.On January' 13 the new thermocouple cost $122.49 an increase of about $49.00 in a period of 4 months. I called ANC and said that the thermocouple should be under warrenty and was told that it was probably not but that they would get back to me which they never did. In Janurary when the technician replaced the bad thermocouple (and I saw it for mysellf) that the end of bad thermocouple was burned. The technicion said that when he installed the new thermopouple that he made sure that it was away from the flame of the piolet light.I talked to anotheer furnace company and was told that a thermocouple does not go bad in that short a period of time unless it was installed incorrectly. I feel that the original thermocouple was instatled incorrectly and I only want my money returned ($122.49). I want nothing more to do with ANC ever again and I will tell everyone how over priced they are and I feel that they are unethical. I feel that the technician knew why the first thermocouple was burned out. I never should have had to pay for 2 thermocouples in a four month period of time.
