Review: We signed an annual $100 contract ($200 with 50% off for MSFT employees) with [redacted]A Nanny For U[redacted] to provide temp childcare. They also charge a $20 a day placement fee. We scheduled a nanny this week for Tues/Wed and paid the $40 placement fee for 2 days. The nanny called me 1 hour before her arrival to CANCEL. The agency was not able to provide a replacement because they were 100% staffed and yet, they will not refund our $40 placement fee. We paid $140 to an agency to provide a service, that by their own admission, they are not able to provide because they don't maintain adequate resources. I've also had a very stressful few days trying to juggle kids, school, work, and drs appointments with no childcare because I wasn't given adequate time to pursue another option. The contract states that " A Nanny For U will use its best efforts to replace the Candidate with another qualified Candidate. " The agency did not attempt to find a replacement because they had staffed at 100% with no consideration given to such a situation. How is that using its "best efforts"? They advertise the ability to provide a service and they, by their own admission, did not retain adequate resources to do so. There wasn't even an option to provide someone later in the day. We were immediately told there was no one available because they had staffed all of their nannies. Desired Settlement: $100 refund for the annual contract fee and $40 refund for the placement fee charged with no service provided.

Before this complaint was filed with the Revdex.com, we had left a message with the client letting her know that we were going to refund her the $100 registration fee along with the $40 placement fee for 2 days. We never heard a response from her in regards to this refund offer. This client is in a conflicting business and really should not have been working with our agency in the first place. We believe it was her intention to find flaws within our company. We feel this case has been resolved since all fees were refunded as of 4/15/2013.
