Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In regards to the stones that [redacted] the contractor agreed to replace, his men showed up unannounced but it was raining at t he time They informed us that the sand in which the stones had to be placed was too wet for the stones to be properly set They contacted [redacted] and informed him of the problem and then left Their men made the decision not to replace the stones at that time since the work could not be properly completed We appreciated their honesty and professionalism They never returned In the Contract/Proposal (Estimate # [redacted] ) dated 6/10/signed by [redacted] it states on page 2, "Plants year warranty" Failure to replace the defective plants is a clear violation of the contract Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I feel that the response is inadequate as there is no timeframe provided as to when the plants will be replaced If they are not replaced soon, the plants will not have time to become established before the cold weather sets in This will increase the chances of the plants not surviving the winter and therefore not blooming in the Spring Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We are rejecting the response in part The plants have been replacedHowever, they were replaced when we were not homeNear the beginning of October [redacted] called and left a message saying that he would replace the plants and stonesWe called and left a message at his office asking that we be notified as to when they would be coming because we wanted to be homeWe received no responseWe have no idea when the plants were replaced but [redacted] office called on 10-11-at 12:PM and left a message to remind us to water the plants because they didn't want them to dry outWe heard the message on 10-15-when we return from vacationWe have no idea what condition the plans were in when they replaced them or even if the plants were watered when they were replaced [redacted] Has not attempted to set up a date for the replacement of the stonesIn Shamrock's response to you on 8/11/they indicated that they would be busy until mid NovemberNo other mention of replacing of the stones has been madeWe have said that we wanted to be presentWe will be on vacation from 11/to 11/Yes, we do have the stones; the manufacturer was nice enough to give them to us Sincerely, [redacted]

We were out to reinstall the new stone that was supplied by our supplier The homeowner refused the installation, he felt the weather was too cold That was not the case We will install the new stone on the next available schedule date Our schedule is
booked until mid November The stone will be replaced at that time in the schedule The step will be replaced as an act of customer service, their is not a issue with quality The homeowner strictly does not like the look of the stone. We were unaware of any issues with plant material Our warranty is good for year for trees and shrubs, we DO NOT guarantee plants The warranty will cover defects in the material

The homeowners are on the schedule to have steps replaced Steve got the change to see the plant and that is being replaced too Sorry for the delay, we have been crazy busy

The startling lack of honesty and integrity are what surprised us the most in our dealings with Shamrock Landscaping, specifically Steve and Julie *** We engaged Shamrock in the fall of in a large backyard landscape project with a cost well above $50,While there are way too many failures to list here, I will highlight a few On day one of the project, pallets of material arrived and was placed in my driveway and front yard It sat there for more than a month Also on day 1, a building inspector showed up and informed us that no permits had been applied for, even though we told Shamrock we wanted everything permitted (and even PAID for permits) After the first day, we didn’t see them again for a weekDuring the preparation phase of the project, Shamrock incorrectly removed part of our existing deck that was supposed to stay intact When informed of their error, they lied about it, and sent us an invoice for $2,for their mistake Later in the project, they sent us an invoice for $for sod that they never delivered They charged us hundreds of dollars for backyard grading that wasn’t doneWhen Shamrock sent us their final bill, there were still several things that were either done incorrectly, not completed, or not done at all We outlined these things to Shamrock in writing and asked that they be resolved or removed from the invoice Instead of responding to the concerns about quality and completeness of the work they did, after we spent well in excess of $50,with them, this is the exact response we received:
“The full payment must be received by noon tomorrow at our office I will be placing a lien on the home by the end of business tomorrow Once the lien is secured, it will be handed to our attorney for foreclosure on the lien.”
Instead of trying to address our concerns as an unhappy customer, they threatened us I won’t ever do business with them againShamrock Landscape advertises as ‘Revdex.com Accredited’, but, according to the Revdex.com, they are not Shamrock also advertises that they have an ‘A+ Revdex.com rating’, when they actually have an F rating Do your homework and check your facts before your hire this company!

We replaced the plants as good customer service, they were not part of a guarantee, nor will they be replaced again.  The stones will be replaced soon.

I am rejecting this response because:We are rejecting the response in part.  The plants have been replaced. However, they were replaced when we were not home. Near the beginning of October [redacted] called and left a message saying that he would replace the plants and stones. We called and left a message at his office asking that we be notified as to when they would be coming because we wanted to be home. We received no response. We have no idea when the plants were replaced but [redacted] office called on 10-11-16 at 12:00 PM and left a message to remind us to water the plants because they didn't want them to dry out. We heard the message on 10-15-16 when we return from vacation. We have no idea what condition the plans were in when they replaced them or even if the plants were watered when they were replaced. [redacted] Has not attempted to set up a date for the replacement of the stones. In Shamrock's response to you on 8/11/16 they indicated that they would be busy until mid November. No other mention of replacing of the stones has been made. We have said that we wanted to be present. We will be on vacation from 11/8 to 11/20. Yes, we do have the stones; the manufacturer was nice enough to give them to us.

The plants are already planted.  They have plenty of time to grow and no further plants will be installed.   We have left messages with the customer asking where the stone to be replaced is.   The stone was brought to the customer by the manufacture.  Please advise as to the location of the stone, so the stones can be swapped.
