Thank you for facilitating the dispute with A New View Windows & Doors Inc., though I am really disappointed by the company's manipulation of facts.I do not understand how A New View Windows & Doors Incwould be under the impression they had taken care of all business, when the company's employee last came to my unit on 1/20/2017, and on 1/23/2017, 1/26/2017, and 1/27/2017, I e-mailed A New View Windows & Doors Incthat I continued having the same problem as the one on 1/20/2017.Furthermore, A /New View Windows & Doors Inckeeps claiming that my window leaks were caused by roof problems, even though I advised A New View Windows & Doors Incthat my Home Owners Association checked the roof twice (on 1/07/2017, and 1/19/2017), and according to our property management company there were no issues with the roof.A New View Windows & Doors Inchas also stated that when they contacted me on 2/08/2017, I requested them to clean the so-called weep holesPlease note that I have always been requesting the following: final inspection of my window and repairs, if necessary, because when A New View Windows & Doors Incemployee came on 1/20/2017, he advised that:a/ The leak might have been caused by clogged weep holes, but final inspection and determination had to be done after the rain storm was over (it was raining heavily on 1/20/2017)b/ He was not prepared to clean weep holes, because he did not have proper toolsHe did some cleaning of only one of the weep holes using a tooth pick.I disagree as well with A New View Windows & Doors Incstatement that cleaning of the so-called weep holes is my responsibilityI advised A New View Windows & Doors Incseveral times that I am neither a properly trained and certified window technician, nor have I the proper tools to performs such tasks, plus the main reason I have bought the lifetime warranty was to have properly trained and certified window technicians perform any type of window repairsHere is another reason I disagree with A New View Windows & Doors Incthat cleaning of the so-called weep holes is my responsibility/regular maintenance: one of the weep holes can be reached only from outside of my unit, and only using a special ladder (I live on the third floor, and my window does not open enough to allow reaching of the weep hole in question from inside of my unit; that weep hole can be reached only from the outside, with the help of a special ladder).I would also be interested to find out: 1/ What gives A New View Windows & Doors Increasons to believe that its clients are trained windows technicians, who know how to maintain their windows? I have not heard about weep holes till this past January, and I will make an educated guess that eight out of people do not know what a "weep hole" is either.2/ If A New View Windows & Doors Incconsiders everything after the installation of a window "regular maintenance" then why does A New View Windows & Doors Incoffer a lifetime warranty of the windows it installs?Regarding the e-mailed documentation: A New View Windows & Doors Incdid e-mail me a plain piece of paper on February 08, 2017, instead of having the requested information on a company’s form (please see the second attachment)There is no way for a person not familiar with A New View Windows & Doors Incto determine that the piece of paper was produced by A New View Windows & Doors IncAs stated in my complaint, I need a valid document I can show to future buyers of my condominium that all window problems were properly taken care ofTherefore, I prefer A New View Windows & Doors Incstatements on a company form (which, by the way, I was promised on 1/13/2017), but will still accept the piece of paper from A New View Windows & Doors Inc., provided whoever had prepared the document at least spells out his/her name and title, and not just use an illegible signatureIn light of all of the above-stated reasons, I cannot accept neither A New View Windows & Doors Incstatements, nor their offered settlement, and will appreciate it if the Revdex.com further facilitates the mediation process with A New View Windows & Doors Inc.Thank you

There is no violation on our part. We have gone above and beyond to assist this customer with his leaking window which has nothing to do with the window itself, nor the installation of the window. The issue is likely a roof leak which the customer was informed on on 1/6/17. As far as maintaining the weep holes on the windows, this is solely the responsibility of the homeowner and is not the responsibility of the window manufacturer ([redacted]) nor our company which installed the windows in 2008.We have nothing further to say about this nonsense complaint.

Window Leak Inspection Report On 1/6/17 [redacted], owner of A New View Windows & Doors, Inc., inspected and performed an isolated leak test on a retrofit window that had been installed by our company in 2008. [redacted] found the water coming in behind the existing metal frame and paper which...

indicates that the leak  is originating elsewhere, possibly a roof leak. [redacted] showed his findings to the homeowner, [redacted] and advised that he should have a roofing company come out to inspect the roof. Since the interior vinyl trim had been damaged by the water, [redacted] agreed to install new vinyl trim as a courtesy to the customer at no charge. Our service tech installed the new vinyl trim on 1/20/17. He also cleaned out the window’s weep holes as a courtesy as they had not been maintained and were full of dirt and muck, clogging them. Recommendation: 1.       Have roof inspected 2.       Clean all weep holes in all windows regularly We called the customer today, 2/8/17 to see why he had filed a complaint as we were under the impression that we had taken care of all issues. He stated that he filed the complaint because he had never received anything in writing from us documenting the leak inspection and subsequent service call and also that he was requesting that we come out again to clean all his weep holes for him. We informed him that we would email him documentation of our findings but that we would not clean weep holes as this is required maintenance on the windows and should be done regularly.
