Apartment was inspected twice by city inspector, once while it was occupied and again after it was vacated. there was no mold found in unit. However, there was black soot on walls and ceiling in second bedroom requiring washing and stain sealing. Resident was charged for painting second bedroom, smoke detector that had black soot in it, and spot dying carpet. Drainage pipes appear not to be harmed.
