We back our repairs with a lifetime warranty and will fix related problems after inspectionThis is a brand new headliner from HondaThe alignment was done after the used axle that was put on and sourced from her insurance company as long as she owns the carThe step to take would be to do an additional supplement with the insurance company for a new axle (we have put in so far) there were no other used out availableCustomer stated she wanted us to do nothing else after alignmentThe buffing part is and all better shops perform this after paint (including the factory) The delay was from her insurance company and we tried to assist the insurance company on how to speed up the process but they declinedWe also gave her $(deductible) credit for inconvenienceWe have been in business since and have never provided invoices to customers and will notWe have a A+ rating with the Revdex.com and take these matters very seriousCustomer may contact us with any questions

I did not tell *** *** she was talking to other customersWhat I said was we did not want her in the office causing disruptionAs I said before this entire delay was due to the insurance company not usWe have A+ rating with the Revdex.com have been in business since and we back our workI have work in the shop with *** *** almost dailyWe do not have problems with *** *** until recently and these problems have been delays due to shortage of staff by themI understand this customers being upset, but if the insurance adjustor would of just allowed the axle to be replaced instead of sending out for alignment than replacing it this would of not gone like this

The lifetime warranty AOk provided is useless for many reasonsI refuse to allow AOk to make "repairs" to my vehicleHow could I trust them ? The select service body shop has already made the correct repairs and they have provided documentation and will provide a lifetime warrantyThey are also willing to provide any paperwork at my requestFor example, test results and/or invoicesAccording to the select service shop they have proven that AOk has used after market non-Honda parts on my vehicle and needed to repair or replace items on my vehicle due to the incompetence of AOkAnd again the delay from AOk was not a result of my insurance delaying thingsIt was again the result of AOks incompetence and liesThere was no $credit for inconvenienceThe $deductible was waived according to my insurance and according to what AOk told me and my insuranceAOk did allow me to use two of their shop vehicles, however both proved to be unreliable and unsafe to driveThe second car ended up leaving me stranded and broke down while I was coming home from work on Sunday night 4/2/I am still disturbed that AOk would allow me to use cars that were poorly maintained and unsafe to driveThe select service shop has proven AOk is not reliable for proper repairsI have no reason to trust that AOk would ever properly repair my carHow could anyone trust them considering the circumstances of their lies and failure to properly repair my vehicle in the first place ?? AOk had 1st informed me that the alignment results would be available the day after my car was released which would have been 4/6/On 4/6/we called to ask about the results because we were told they would be available in the afternoon and the response had changed to saying that the printer was having issues where the car had been alignedThey still refused to tell me where it had even been aligned even though the car was no longer in their possession and told me they would call when they were available and when the "printer issues were resolved" I would have the resultsIt is now 4/13/and I have yet to be contacted about the results of the alignment that was supposedly done on Wednesday 4/5/I do not believe any alignments were ever done on my vehicle because no documentation has been provided whatsoever and when the select service body shop sent the car for the alignment it failedAs of today, 4/13/my car is stilled being repaired by the select service shop due to the inconvenience, disrepair, and failure of AOk to correctly repair my vehicle. *** *** complaint ID ***

Miss *** your are a valued customer and I apologize for the delay in this matterNot an excuse , but the delay has been due to the parts being secured by a third party thru a vendor we use on a regular basisI will have the information to you by end of business day 5/26/

We will look into what the cause of the problem is., We do not know, other than another repair saying this is the same problem if this is related. It is not industry standard to tow cars at no charge, the customer must arrange the car to be transported to our shopWe will work with you
on this when the car arrives and we can find what the cause of this problemWe warranty our work not the transport

Per ownership we never have or will we supply invoices to customers for repairsThis car would have been completed except for delay of weeks for rear axle from the insurance company. We offered to put her in a car at our expense at first it was ours (which broke down) than a
rental at no charge she refusedShe signed the repair order for us to do the repairs and all delays have been from her insurance company not usThe repairs have been completed for weeks other than the axle Per ownership we will release this car to customer after all money due from both customer and insurance

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/07) */
We did replace the engine on Mr*** vehicleI gave him the price for a reconditioned or used engine and he said he wanted the used engine and that is what was put on his vehicleThe used engine is an original engine from ford
There was several times when I call him and told him that if he wanted to come by the shop to look at all the parts that we were replacing he couldMr*** made several appointments but never cameWhen he came to pick up the vehicle I told him that if he wanted to look at the damage parts we still had them in the shop and he said no
I even gave Mr*** a copy of the invoice from were I purchase the used engine, which included the vin number of the car it came out ofThe engine is also on our police bookA-OK Automotive did replace the engine on Mr*** vehicle
Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2014/07/11) */
No this is not resolvedI have documentation from Ford Motor CoThat he did not replace the engineIs this how you protect consumers
He says he sent me an invoice for the engine he purchasedHe sent me a document that had every pertinent piece of info blacked out so I could not contact the supplier to document his claim of purchasing the engineThis is no a validity claimMake him prove that he purchased the engine in a way that can be documented
Sent from Windows Mail
Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2014/07/18) */
I did send the invoice to Mr*** for the engine that I purchaseOn the invoice that I send him it has the VIN number from the vehicle that the engine came fromThe only thing that was black out was the priceI purchase the engine from LKQ, and he did call themHe spoke with the sales person that we had purchase the engine fromWe did replace the engineI do not know why Mr*** keeps saying that the engine was never replaceIt was replace
When the engine was out of the vehicle we call Mr*** several times to come and look at the vehicle, he made several appointments but never cameWhen he was here to pick up the vehicle, we still had the old engine and the parts here, we ask him if he wanted to see them and he decline to look at the engine and the parts
I take it as a compliment that the Ford Dealer can't even tell that I did replace the engine on the vehicle
Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2014/07/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
He did not only black out the price, he blacked out all the pertinent information to get the proper proof from LKQ
I would no call this a compliment from Ford, it was a direct acusationThey know their business better than anyoneWhen they say this is not a rebuilt engine then I trust them
The dealer also told us their are no rebuilt engines available for this auto
I want unequivocal proof that he installed the engineHe cannot provide the proof because he did not replace the engine

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:There is proof that AOk did NOT properly repair my vehicle. The select service shop that my car is at had to fix 28 items on my car due to the incompetence of AOk. Not only was there a great delay in having my car fixed in a timely manner, the "repairs" done werr not done correctly. And again the delay was not due to my insurance. AOk billed my insurance for brand new parts and instead put after market non-Honda parts on my car, and there were 3 leaks that caused water to settle in my trunk. Again the select service shop has proved this, which proves the incompetence of AOk.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The timeframe was due to additional damage (supplement) and also damaged parts from vendor. [redacted] is correct in that I did not inform him before he called us. I did after a discussion with [redacted] call him everyday with updates. Although not a excuse but we were trying a new office...

person that did not work out and demanded a lot of my time. As I had said before this was our problem not his and I discussed this with [redacted] and talked to him everyday. At the end [redacted] and I  shook hands and he thanked us for the repairs and the communication at the end. I did apologized for my error and if there were any other problems to please call me. We have a A+ rating but sometimes things happen and need to be fixed and are.. We value our customers input good or bad and react quickly to any issues. If there are any other concerns [redacted] can call me directly.
[redacted]

As stated prior we honor our lifetime warranty and will address any issues if the car is returned to us. I apologize that this car had to be rushed out without our quality check, but the customer wanted it returned while she waited. The delay was due to the insurance company as stated prior. ..

We never tell a customer were the car is at out of respect to our vendors who do not know the whole story. This common in this industry. The car was at [redacted] Auto Service on Archer. She did not want us to do any more work on this car no matter what the problem was. This was the reason why she was not given the information. We paid more for the 3 alignments than [redacted] paid (we paid $100 they paid us $85) as far as the leaks we would be more than happy to take care of this problem under her lifetime warranty. We would like to fix this as soon as possible.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The delays were not a result of my insurance, [redacted]. All they did was follow their protocol. On Monday April 3 I went down to AOk's shop to ask for the invoices and as stated received 3 responses. First I was told okay I will get it together. Then I was told he needed to go through bookkeeping, and finally I was told he needed to speak to ownship. I asked to speak to the owner multiple times and was given a run around about why I could not speak to him. After AOk failed to hand over copies of the invoices, I decided with my dad that I no longer wanted AOk to complete the final repairs that needed to be done on my car. After much discussion and back and forth with [redacted], the manager agreed to put my original axle back in the car and remove the comprised axle AOk bought. I was to pay them for their work done the next day and have my car ready to be towed to a trusted body shop. However this did not happen and on Tuesday April 4 another axle that AOk had ordered for my car arrived and they never put my original axle on the car because they claimed it was thrown away. At that point I had no choice but to let them put the new ordered rear axle in my vehicle. However, [redacted] had agreed to let me take the car to a trusted body shop in order to have the car inspected. It is now Saturday April 8 and I have learned from the trusted body shop that there are multiple issues with the "repairs" AOk completed on my vehicle. On the inside of my car on the right rear side, the headliner is cracked, there were 3 leaks in my car as a result of the car not being properly sealed, there are after market parts that are not even Honda parts on my car when they charged my insurance for brand new parts. They also did not properly spray my car with the paint and the trusted body shop found that the paint was grainy and needed to be buffed properly. And finally the hatch of my car is not properly aligned with the rear quarter panel and my right rear door is also not properly aligned with the hatch. AOk has cheated my insurance of their money, and have cost me much inconvenience and time away from work. They did not properly repair my Honda and now as a result the trusted body shop needs to file a counter claim in order for my car to be properly repaired. Also, after leaving AOk with my car I asked to see the results of the alignement to prove the axle they put in my car was legitimate and AOk failed to provide the results. The trusted body shop had my car sent for an alignment and my car did not pass the alignment and fortunately they were able to proplet align car even though it was off in 3 places. Again, AOk did not properly repair my car, they lied to me multiple times, refused to provide invoices and alignment results, refused to allow me to speak to the owner, and have cost me peace of mind that my car is safe to drive, cost me inconvenience, and cost me time away from work  I trust that the Revdex.com will take my concerns very seriously and hold AOk au[redacted]otive accountable for their wrong doing and lies to me and my insurance, [redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]
