Having made an afternoon appointment 2 days in advance I was surprised to get an early morning call from a plumber wanting to come to my house right then instead. Since I couldn't do that he said he would "call later". He never called and he didn't show up at all that afternoon. The next morning no one contacted me to explain what happened. When I contacted the company they said "he's put you on his schedule for 11:30 today". I told the office person that I hadn't made an appointment for today. She just made an excuse for the plumber saying " he got held up on a job yesterday". as if that was all that mattered in the situation. The company seems not realize that customers have schedules too. Unless you are sitting at home day after day with nothing to do except accommodate the plumbers desires you may be in for frustration and disappointment if you schedule with this company.
There is not much to say about a company who does not follow through on a comittment. If your company doesn't need the business then maybe customers need to start servicing their HVAC systems with someone who cares and is more reliable. My experience speaks for itself. I make an appointment on a Tuesday morning at 8:00am with you promising to be at my home on Thursday between 12:30-3:30pm to service my AC that quit running on Memorial Day. As a responsible adult I ask off for work relying on the comitment made to me on Thursday, June 2, 2016. No one shows and and no calls the day you are to arrive. I call to confirm our appointment at 1:30pm. The service operator confirms and let's me know I am the last call but someone WILL BE AT MY HOME TODAY. The time gets to be 4:30pm. My appointment time was from 12:30-3:30pm. I call at 4:30 and speak to the same service operator that scheduled my appointment on Tuesday and then confirmed there would be someone at my home by 3:30pm. She said the HVAC techs were already done for the day. That the techs come in at 4:00pm and put the tickets down that they do not get to during the day and no one would be out to my home today. She said my ticket had a note that I had taken off work, but her techs were done and gone for the day. Her recommendation for those of us that work and have a schedule is to call a larger HVAC service company that offers weekend and night hours because they do not offer that they are more limited with less techs. Thanks for the advice. I now understand your wisdom and see that your mission statement is "Our time is more valuable than yours. If you don't believe it we will soon show you."
