We got our new house painted by APC-homes Inc between 3/4/2013 and 3/6/2013. When the job was completed we were not living in the property, so we found the paint good after a superficial look, made the payment instantly and wrote a good review about the business on [redacted]) website. However, after we moved in, we have kept noticing unpainted areas, badly repaired areas, brush marks and so on. The most important of all was that when we asked for the receipts of the paint, the company stopped contacting us. So, we are concerned that the painters did not use the paint (Sherwin Williams Zero VOC) that was on our contract. Here is a summary of our complaints in a more detailed and timely manner:
1) Before the job was started, the initial proposal excluded something we had already agreed on verbally. As we asked, they updated the proposal in the way we had agreed.
2) The company president promised to provide the receipts of all the paint that was purchased until the job was finished. After the job was completed, he initially said that he is going to send the receipts a week later since the painter went on holiday. We asked for the receipts again a month later,he apologized and said that he had an accident, so we kept waiting. Lastly, we sent him two e-mails to ask whether he could give us a date when he would be able to reply he didn't answer. So, we have already waited for the receipts or an estimated date for nearly two months.
3) While we asked for the receipts we notified the company president about our dissatisfaction for the quality of the job and asked for an inspection by him. He didn't answer.
Before we purchased their service, we trusted this business as it has Revdex.com accreditation. We are hoping that Revdex.com will solve this issue.
