A & P RV Rentals

We rented a travel trailer from the company for the Memorial Day weekend in May 2013. Trailer was nice but there were some issues. Awning was dry rotted, battery was dead and would not recharge, radio did not work, the A/C did not work and the holding tanks were half full. Upon picking the trailer up, no instructions were given on how to operate anything. Also we were told that our braking system was enough to tow. It actually was not. During our rental, the wind took the awning and broke it. Our fault for not rolling it up but many other trailers parked next to us had theirs down and had no problem. I take responsibility for it and we paid an additional $600 on top of the $300 deposit. I want to dispute the amount we paid due to the problems mentioned earlier. I know we owed but do not feel that we should have owed the full $900. I phoned the business but they would not even consider any refund. She told me that the generator we had was not sufficient to run the A/C or charge the battery (which was supposed to have been charged before we took it). Upon investigation, I have found that to not be accurate. It should have been good enough.
