In regards to complaint # [redacted], The customer requested our service. We went out and preformed work that was requested. We feel that we did our part and no complaint should have been filed. With this being from April of 2014 it is hard to remember what happened, So we are not going to take any action except to send email.

Thank you for letting us respond to this case. We recieved a call from the home owner on 4/23/2014 she was quoted an approximant price ($250 plus parts and tax) for hooking up the drain lines to a double lavitory sink. When arriving to do the work the home owner was informed...

that there was more work than just the drain lines that needed to be done (Hot & cold water lines) and there would be additional charges. We were given the okay to proceed with the work. When job was completed their was a dispute about the additional costs. In an effort to satisfy the home owner A-Peoria Plumbing gave the home owner an internet coupon of $100.00 off plus contract pricing of $145.00 totaling $245.00 discount. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I sent the notice that I rejected what A-Peoria plumbing answered to my complaint.  I accidently sent it without a response.  When I called them, I explained that I needed a sink plumbed that was not there before.  Why would I want the drain installed and not running water?  During the entire process he never made mention of additional charges.  He did not mention price at all during the installation.  I called 3 times after the service and asked to speak to his boss.  He told me he was out of town for business and would call back.  I did not receive a call.  The other 2 times [redacted] told me his boss was out on a job and he would call back.  I did not receive a call.  My daughter found the coupon on the internet.  He did not mention it.  He did take 145.00 off the bill.  He hasn't spoken the truth and why won't he connect me with his boss.

Review: I contacted a Peoria plumbing to have a sink plumbed. I had only one sink in the master bathroom. When I added a granite countertop, I had another sink and faucet put in. It had no plumbing to the sink. [redacted]. quoted an estimate of $250.00 over the phone. Because they had done work for me before and they were also the lowest estimate, I asked them to do the work. He came and hooked up a drain. I went in the room and he showed me the drain and said if someone uses the faucet no water will come out. I said what do you have to do? He said run 2 lines and I said ok. It seemed odd for him to say that, because why would I get the drain put in and not running water. He never made mention of it costing anymore. The work took him a long time so I assumed it would be more than the original estimate. I was shocked when he told me I owed him 1000.00. He took a coupon off my daughter found. I was shocked and called the next day. [redacted] answered and said you told me to do it. That's what I originally asked for you to do. I asked to speak to his boss and he said he was unavailable. He said that he and his boss could only deduct 145.00. I called again and he said his boss was away on business and he would call me back. He never did. I called a third time and he told me his boss was out on a call. The math on the invoice is incorrect. I talked to a professional and some of the parts are questionable.Desired Settlement: I would like a reasonable price and integrity.
