We contacted this company for service to our salt water pool. The first thing they told me when they arrived was their plan for us to convert our pool back to a chlorine pool! What??? Why would we do that? We just needed help getting the pool back in shape after our motor went out in December of 2012. They told us they could replace the motor which labor would be $95 an hour for up to 4 hours, or we could replace the pump and motor combo. They also told us they recommended some chemicals that we could use with our salt water pool and test strips.
We asked them about cleaning out the pool and they told us to do it ourselves. We rented a sump pump the next day, drained and cleaned the pool to perfection, filled the pool back up and contacted them to let them know we were ready for them to install the new equipment. They told my husband to go a head and put 8 40lb bags of pool salt in the pool.
The technician came out to replace the pump and motor, but did not bring any chemicals. He said it was not on the purchase order. My husband called the owner and he said he would send someone back out with the chemicals. He sent the technician back out and he put a couple of gallons of chemicals in our pool. The next day, we had algae and rust spots through out the pool. This was on Friday before Memorial Day. We called on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and left messages for them to contact us. We didn't hear back from them until Tuesday after Memorial Day, I received a call from the owner. He bluntly said. "So, what's the problem". I explained the issues and he said, I told your husband to put in 10-20 lbs of chlorine. No. He did not. He told us to put salt back in.
When my husband called them back, he was upset. When he got through to the owner he was told, "You're too stupid to own a pool!" then, "*-you, *your wife and* your pool!" and he hung up on my husband.
These "people" then sent us an email stating that they had filed a (false) Police Report on my husband. And they would not be doing business with us. Our calls will be blocked and our emails will be blocked as well.
We paid them over $1000 for service/equipment and now they won't even take our calls?
