What a pathetic company. They charged my credit card without my approval for 125.00 because I delayed moving forward on replacement of pool lights in the winter. Canceled my contract with 30 day notice now wants a termination fee of excess of 700.00 dollars, which now turning over to my attorney. Customers be ware.

Before I explain what has transpired, I would like to say that the only reason Mr. is filing a complaint with the Revdex.com is because he does not believe he owes for the service call he initiated nor for the cancellation fee for ending his service agreement. He had asked me not to send him any more invoices, or he would forward to his attorney. Last week we have the system to automatically sent out past due notices, so he received another invoice. This generated his complaint to you.
On or about Monday, December 16, 2019, we received a call and or message from Mr., to set up a service call. He stated that his pool light is not working, spa light is working and that he needed it working by the same week for a party he would be having the following weekend. Nick our technician went by Mr. house to assess and retrieve the correct size of the light bulbs and to ensure it was not a GFCI that might have tripped causing his pool light not to work. Upon inspection, it was determined that a bulb and gasket were needed for the pool light. Customer was provided an estimate for this work on December 16, 2019 via e-mail. Received call from Mr. approving the estimate. Estimate sent: Sent by email to ***com at Dec 16, 3:08 pm Central Standard Time. Technician then went to supply house to pick up Pentair gaskets, Ameri-lite, 500-watt bulb for pool and 100-watt bulb for spa (just in case). Customer also agreed to allow us to run his heater so we could change the light in the cold temperatures.
On Thursday, December 19, 2019, our technician ran by and turned heater on @4:30, to allow time for pool to heat up so we could install the bulb and gasket the next day. Sent text to customer to let him know tech would be there shortly.
Friday, December 20, 2019 @ 8:31:52 AM to Nick.
Went to install lights and water wasn't heated, checked heater and igniter wasn't firing. Asked customer if he wanted to have it replaced, he asked for an estimate. We provided an estimate and texted him @ 5:40 pm the amount of the heater igniter and labor, he rejected the estimate within 7 minutes. I then let him know by text that we would not be able to change the light bulb and gasket due to the cold temperatures and water was too cold to enter. At 6:25 pm he said he understood, and it was discussed with him by the tech. He rejected repair and told the tech he was having his pool re-plastered the pool and wants lights pulled and new ones installed at that time. Billing for service call to come out to estimate on 12/16/19 with the intention to install on 12/19/19.
On Saturday, December 21, 2019, received this text from Mr.
***, very upset with how my secondary pump has been running since Wednesday due to my timer messed with and needs to be put back together. Then leaving my grill uncovered knowing the heater didn't work. I also responded to your email on paying some bogus invoice for 125.00 for labor no work was done. Have Nick stop by or you can call if you'd like. Running my pump 24/7 is inexcusably.

On Monday, December 23, 2019 @11:51 had our tech run by Mr. residence and found the grill was already covered. We had to remove the cover due to possibility of catching fire since it was close to the heater. His pump runs 24/7 on low and high. Nick did go by this morning and found that you had already put the cover on your BBQ pit, and you had put the trippers on the timer as well.

His response was:
Please don't tell me what I've done and not done. I put cover on grill since it was exposed to the rain but did nothing with trippers. On call now will call shortly to discuss moving forward.

The service call charge is because we were supposed to do your lights. We made 4 independent visits and visits to supply house to purchase items that lead to not being used. 1 service call for 4 visits seems fair don't you think.

Mr. did not provide a 30 day notice, his text was: Currently traveling, but this text message is to notify you and your company that after today your services will no longer be needed. I wish you and your company the best moving forward. I, will be notifying my bank that there will be no future invoices paid from A Perfect Pool. As of this day and time.

Please note that you have agreed to a 39 day notice to cancel services with each monthly statement.

I corrected it and said I meant 30 days, to which I received no response. We then sent him an invoice for his cancellation without the 30 day notice and penalties for his cancellation.

The guys who have worked for A Perfect Pool and serviced my pool through the years have all been thorough, punctual, and very nice. Even now, with all the oak leaves constantly falling into the pool, Chris - who comes weekly, does his best to get them all out and leave it clean.
To help with the skimmer which filled up with leaves and choked off water flow they supplied a wire screen to go over the pool opening. Also another very nice man from APP, upon hearing my struggles with getting the basket out, to empty it, concocted a handle to make emptying the leaves easier for me.
They are nice, helpful people and I have been very satisfied with their pool service and would certainly recommend them.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our positive and pleasant experience we had with "A Perfect Pool". Also, we thank Doug for his time and the through job he did in explaining the equipment that we were interested in purchasing along with the energy savings with the new Jandy Variable-Speed pool pump that were interested in getting.. After listening to Doug explain the features of the Aqualoon Filter ***, my wife and I were sold. Nick then installed our new filter system, pool pump and booster pump in a very professional manner and explained the workings in a polite and through manner, so we could understand what our new system would be doing for us. It was just a matter of a few hours after Nick installed our new equipment, that we could immediately see the results of a crystal clear pool. I have been using Perfect Pool for years bd been cerybhapot with Doug and Betty. They are always responsive and helpful and service is always efficient.
