I must be the only one on the face of the earth that had a positive outcome with these folks. We figured out a plan to help me with a credit card, we put it in place, and I just paid my last payment for the help. Assuming I'm not billed again, I'm quite happy with the service I received.

I had a negative experience at A Personal Choice. On October 10, 2016. I was scheduled for a Essure Reversal Surgery. Surgery was never performed. I was not offered a chance to reschedule at a later date for a fee. The cost of the Essure Tubal Reversal fee is $7500. I paid $7000 due to a prepayment discount. In the Prepayement policy it state that there will be NO DISCOUNTED SURSERIES SCHEDULES ON A MONDAY OR FRIDAY. My discounted surgery was SCHEDULED ON MONDAY October 10, 2016!! VERY MISLEADING INFOMATION. I notice the Droctor advertise on his website that he work with "Heavier Women" he also stated other persuasive ads that are mention below that convince me of having my surgery completed at A personal choice, thinking this would be a good choice. It turned out to be devasting and heartbreaking!!

I do not require my patients to undergo unnecessary procedures and I do not charge patients by the pound!
After reading those statement online. I paid in full $7000 and scheduled an appointment over the phone. I was ask a number of questions including my weight and height on September 22, 2016. I stated my current weight 200. I was told I was a good canidate to have my Essure reversal surgery completed. I was also advice to not be over 209 pounds BMI37 when I arrive for surgery on 10/10/16. I arrived at A personal Choice on 10/10/16. My blood pressure, height and weight was checked. I weight in only 10 pounds over at 219 BMI 38.8 according to the nurse. I did notice on my medical record it appeared to be 34.8 BMI and the 4 has been altered to an 8. After weigh in I was then told to have a sit in a conference room and shortly meet with the nurse and the business manager. I was then told I can not have my surgery completed due to me weighting 10 pounds over their required BMI 37 or less. I will not beable to reschedule and pay a rescheduling fee of $1500. I will not be issued a refund. I was then meet by the Doctor/Medical Director. The Doctor was not sympathetic or reasonable to my feelings at all. He didnt greet himself. He stated that I can not reschedule. I have forfeited 100% of my fee $7000 because I am 10 pounds over. I explained to him that I can lose 10 pounds quickly to meet their personal bmi requirements and reschedule at a later date. he decline my offer. he stated that its just like if I would have purchase a plane ticket. If Im late for my flight then I just missed out. My husband and my self was then escorted to the front lobby where a driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel. I told to go back home to Washington, DC and good luck! After email corresponding between the Doctor and the business Manager. I was informend that I was removed from their companies facebook page and that I can never rejoin again and the doctor and staff members had voted and elected to BANNED me from returning to A personal Choice ever again for any service. The doctor also email me and stated that he had 500 surgeries this year and I am the only patient who had weigh in over my BMI. In which I find that hard to believe. I feel like I was treated unfairly and the service was not presented in a pleasant manner. I wasnt given an opportunity as he promise online to work with his patients, to reschedule. Instead I was sent back home to DC and out of $7000 no surgery.

My name is [redacted] and I traveled from new Jersey to North Carolina to have my tubes repaired by [redacted]. I must say that this office is the most caring and honest Dr's Office I have ever been to. All the staff members were very friendly and make you feel like family. They always address you by your first name and make you as comfortable as possible. I originally came in for what I thought was blocked fallopian tubes. So I paid to have the tubal repair plus laparascopy. Turns out that my tubes were perfectly fine and I didn't need to go thru with the tubal repair. To my surprise at my follow up visit, [redacted] handed me a check for reimbursement of the tubal repair. I only had to pay for the laparascopy. He is very honest and cares about his clients. I highly recommend A Personal Choice to anyone experiencing difficulty with blocked tubes.
