Review: I adopted a dog from A Place Fur Paws on June 24, 2012. At the time of adoption, I paid a $50 spay deposit and received a signed 'spay contract' indicating that I would receive a full refund of the $50 if I had my dog spayed and provided documentation prior to November 8, 2012.My dog was spayed on October 19, 2012 and I submitted a copy of the certificate of sterility along with a copy of the spay contract to [redacted], the representative of A Place Fur Paws with a cover letter requesting refund of my $50 deposit. [redacted] was the person from whom I adopted the puppy and who signed the spay contract and to whom I gave the adoption fee along with the $50 spay deposit.Over one month later, on November 21, 2012, I sent an email to [redacted] at [redacted] (the email address on her business card) requesting a refund of the $50 deposit. I included a scanned copy of my October 19 letter along with copies of the spay contract and sterility certificate. As of today, December 13, 2012, I have not received a response to my letter or to the email and I have not received a refund of the $50 deposit.Desired Settlement: A cashiers check or money order in the amount of $50 ( I do not trust their checks)
