I want to first start off mentioning all of our sales include a 7-7-warranty This is days to return for a full refund for any reason, weeks to exchange (or return and get store credit to use later), and months of hardware defect repair where we will fix any issues that are not the
fault customer for free.The customer is mostly correct with the details She purchased the first laptop 2/11/and didn't like Windows She came in on 2/19/and exchanged it for a Windows laptop which we had no problem doing for her She then sent her son in to get a refund weeks after the second laptop purchase, which is well past the day return period He brought in the paperwork, that even explained our store policies and acknowledged with our staff that the purchase was not within the refund time period The son was communicating on the phone with his mother and relaying between her and our staff We offered an exchange or to return it for store credit, as our 7-7-allows, but she refused She insisted that we give her a refund, although she also acknowledged there was nothing wrong with the computer and that she simply did not know how to use it We went beyond store policy and offered ro return it with a 30% restocking fee but she still refused We're sorry that she had a stroke in June of 2016, but her medical condition gives her no more rights than every other customer We feel that we tried to accommodate the customer, but she is insisting on special treatment and using her medical condition to justify it We also feel that she is using the Revdex.com system to try to bully us in to breaking our store policies for the same reason This customer was not wronged in any way She simply made a purchase that she later regretted and wants special treatment We treat all of our customers equally regardless of their differences (race, gender, religion, etc) including medical conditions If there was a problem with the computer, we would have fulfilled our month warranty obligations.Right now, she is still within the week exchange period If she or her son brought it back to exchange for something different in the store, then we will still honor our warranty The only option at this point of getting cash back would be to sell it back to us for half of the purchase price The refund with 30% restocking fee is no longer an option
