Mr. [redacted] had the 2003 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 Liter towed to our business. The vehicle was not running, we proceeded to check out the vehicle with a no start diagnostic. It came up with the camshaft position sensor bad, we replaced the sensor (part [redacted]). vehicle started up...
and had a engine noise/knock sound. We notified Mr. [redacted], he verified that the vehicle had the sound back before to problem of not running occurred. Mr. [redacted] stated that he was getting the vehicle running to sell. The part that was replaced is not a internal engine part, nothing that would cause this internal engine noise. We also noticed that the thermostat housing was leaking coolant out of the coolant system after vehicle was running. We notified Mr. [redacted] and he verified replacement of this part (part [redacted]).( Autozone parts) . We communicated through out the process of his vehicle's repairs. No parts could have been taken apart and put back together to cause this internal noise while replacing these particular items.
