When Mr*** came to look at the vehicle, the truck was parked in the grass in front of A Plus Auto LLCThe ground is not level and slopes downwardWhen the oil was checked it should have shown overfull because the truck had not been run and was facing downhillThere were no additives put
in to the oil, it was serviced with qts of Castrol GTX 5wMr*** contacted my employee on his personal cell phone at 8:on 08/09/and wrote the following“Just my luck, I ain’t even got the title yet and my mechanic just pointed out that the main bearings are knocking in this truck, I know I bought it as is and I’m sure you guys didn’t notice cause I didn’t until my mechanic pointed it out….I was getting an estimate on having a leveling kit installed and sure enough there’s a soft knocking sound from the bottom of the motor…gonna have another mechanic verify the soundNot blaming you guys just thought I’d tell ya about my luck” After that message, I agreed that I would have the truck looked at to see if there was a problemI hauled it to an ASE Certified mechanic at *** *** LLC in Poplar Bluff, MOHe informed me that there was nothing wrong with it, that it was piston slap, and that is very common to those trucksA GM service bulletin can be found on the problem as wellAfter that, we returned the truck back to Mr*** and he thanked us for bringing it back to himI have called *** *** Incin Sikeston, MO where Mr*** claims that he had the truck looked atThere is no record of him ever being there or any record of that truck or that VIN number ever being checked at their shop. I am also attaching a copy of the bill of sale and the buyer’s guide where Mr*** agreed to purchase the truck “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no warranty
