Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] I already responded and don't know if you got my response.  I have decided I do not want this vehicle because the frame is damaged and had been in an accident.  Furhermore, there is seeping in the water pump and timing belt chain.  Struts and shocks need to be replaced, maintenance of the transmission needs to be updated.  It is an unsafe vehicle to drive.   Since A Plus Auto did a bait and switch tactic and had the nerve to sell this vehicle in the condition that it is in, I do not want to do business with this company.  I deserve my $100 back for the fee of the [redacted] inspection since they kept the inspection without my permission and benefited from it.  please call me at [redacted] when I can pick up my $100.  I am a senior on permanent disability and I have been taken advantage of and abused.  I cannot afford NOT to protect myself and to be aware when purchasing any vehicle.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I went to A Plus Auto Sales in November of 2013 and bought a 2004 Mini Cooper S. With it was only one key with the remote built-in; the problem was that the remote is broken, it has missing buttons and you can even see the circuit board inside it. In order to open the Mini Cooper I have to manually input the key. I told [redacted] the car salesmen there, that I would only buy the car under the condition that I would receive a new working key. [redacted] (salesman) told me that he would get me a new key within two days. I called [redacted] on the second day after I had bought the vehicle, he answered and he told me that the key wasn't ready yet and to call him one week later. One week had passed so I gave [redacted] a phone call, it went to voice-mail so I left a message. [redacted] did not return my call, I called him throughout the week at different times all were ignored. I then proceeded to go in person and confront him about the key. [redacted] told me that he had not had any time to get a new key and that I needed to take my Mini Cooper in to the dealership in order to program it; so I called him a day after so we could schedule a day to take the car in to get a new key, [redacted] once again ignored my calls and forwarded them to his voice-mail. In February my boyfriend had gone in to speak with [redacted] about the key, [redacted] said that he would only give me a discount and not replace the key. My boyfriend had told him that the original arrangement was that it was to be replaced since it was part of the deal when the Mini Cooper was bought; [redacted] became angry and yelled at him to get out and grabbed him by the arm, and tried to push him out. This has been documented and I have proof of the incident, along with a witness. [redacted] in the end still works at A Plus Auto Sales, and he also told me he will not give [me] a new key and that it is not his responsibility. A Plus Auto Sales is not recommend, I hope this review can help others avoid what I went through.Desired Settlement: Simply put, I would like A Plus Auto Sales ([redacted]) to give me a new key as originally agreed.

Dear Sir/Madam :

Review: On or about 8-13-13 I traded my 2001 Honda civic in good condition to A plus auto sales. I purchased a 2005 Toyota Avalon with 117,495 miles on it for $ 11,500 for a final price of $17,547.92 with a total $3000 dollar down payment. I must admit that they saw me coming and had an instant game plan to basically rip me off. The salesman promised to make repairs to the vechicle. first I was concerned about the rear brakes that were just about worn out. I addressed an oil leak at the oil pan of vehicle. Car has rough engine idle. The 2 front tired were just about balled. He gave ma a tough time about helping me with these issues and said he will do something about them. I had given the owner a $500 dollar down payment prior to hold the vehicle for a week while I got the rest of the money together. After the final paper work and purchase went through I noticed that they became stuburn about making the requested repairs. The only visible repair other than the shady front mixed matched used tire issue was that the car's hood lifters were broken and you had to hold the heavy hood up yourself to look at the engine compartment. I addressed that and he fixed it because it was a dirt cheap repair. The hood lifters were non Toyota parts and were purchased online. it wasn't until afew days later I noticed issues under the hood. Now I see why they avoided fixing those hood lifters before they put it out on the lot for sale. Another shady move by them. I brought the car back and spoke with the owner where he was stuburn. I left the car there with a list of issues deeming the car unsafe and those problems needing repaired. They had the car for 3 days. I stopped by there to check on progress because just wasn't feeling right about them. I found some guy with my car on the side jacked up with only one ramp and not evenly jacked up correctly. I was under the impression that they were taking the Toyota to the darn dealer! Not to have some self employed fly by night guy work on my car! That was totally unacceptable and should of ben told. The owner had this guy flush my transmission due to jerking and loss of intermitin power. he also work on the leaking of oil at the pan with is still leaking and jerking even worse to this very day. The front shocks are also bad as they make rattle like noises in response to small bumps on the road. I also told them about the broken engine mount and the air housing clip that is missing from that mechanic who attempted work on my car. Now with that 2 front tire issue. The owner drove my car somewhere and replaced them with cheap off brand mixed matched tires. I was shocked and felt disrespected. The Toyota avolon is way too much car for him to had just bandage it up like that. I asked him why did he do that. He got mad with his accent and started yelling. I did let him know I was going to notify the Revdex.com about his bad business practices. Now I get a call 2 days later from the sales guy who sold me the car saying that me and the owner will go together and correct this tire issue to satisfy me. I got the next day after work and wait for the owner to show up. He had an attitude and and was insisting that I just keep those tires on the car. his story changed fro the phone call I got the day before. After I stood my ground. He got pissed off and said," give me your keys'! I said," what?". I told him first of all. I don't want anyone driving my car anymore because it seemed like they mad it worse that it was before that mechanic touched it. He got pissed again . Now.. the phone call stated we were suppose to go together to resolve the tire issue. He wanted to go by himself. Another red flag!! I again said no. Why cant I go??" He yelled ..well go pay for it yourself! Red flag! Shady! Now im starting to figure out that these guys are bad business! In cheap and negligent repair attempt...they mad thing worse. I did get a 3 month warranty after I begged for it because the sales guy tried is darnest not to give it to me. I later called the warranty center because I wanted to take this thing to the dealer. The operator informed me that the account was not valid. it had been 30 days witch means that they didn't mail the contract payment in. I lost 30 days of coverage. I couldn't take the car in during that time. I went back to them and asked why? The owner was not there, but the sales guy was. He stated the check maybe wasn't sent or so. I don't why this wasn't done right away. Red flag! These guys are bad for business. I'm not looking to rip them off or a free bee, but they already had overcharged me for the car and got a good car in trade. The cars brakes have gotten so bad that I have to press down harder to stop the car and its not a light vehicle. I tried my best to explain these issues of events and problems best as I could. The stickers in their windows at the time does not state ..AS IS. Limited warranty is checked. Can you all help? I just want quality in what I purchased. Im making monthly car payments on this thing.Desired Settlement: The quality repairs parts and issues stated to the dealer prior and in this complaint. If settlement is reached... mechanical repairs must be made by a Toyota dealer! Tires must match the ones in the back. Or... Give back the $3000 dollar down payment so I can make these repairs myself! I have been limited from driving out of town and the stress of the vehicle breaking down with the children in the car. Im trying to avoid small claims court!

thank you for opportunity to respond ...

Review: I bought a Chrysler Sebring and drove it for 5 days then it broke down, I had the car towed to the dealer to see if they could help me pay for whatever is wrong with it. They did not care had no sympathy and told me bluntly that the car was bought as is. Then, the owner has the nuts to tell me you can use my mechanic he is right down the block and is very cheap. Why in the world would I want to use his mechanic - now the trust factor is way off.

Regardless, I had it repaired and it cost me $3,000. It had heads surfaced, new vales, water pump, speak plugs, lifters replaced, new battery, and starter put in, and timing belt stuff done. I think the car is a lemon and this guy knew it. I will never ever ever buy from this ripoff artist again!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the car plus the $3,000 I had to have it repaired.

Hi, I am a international student, I bought a Car from an auto dealership. I've never been here before so I have no idea about cars. On Dec 24th 2012 I went to the dealer and tried driving a Toyota Solana and bought it.on my way home, I saw the "check engine light" come on but I do not know what it is. The car started to run poorly. After that I went to the mechanic and had him check the car out and he told me that the car is in very bad condition. I went back to the dealer to ask him about it and he told me that is passed smog but when I checked it out on this website there is no record of it. I hope someone can help me because I really need help. Thanks.
