This is an unfortunate incident and we are sorry this had happen, but when a customer comes in and states he/she wants tires and brakes we will install upon the customers requestthe safety check is part of our policy and we did notify the customer of the other issues the vehicle had and remember she stated she only wanted brakes and tires that was all she could afford at the timeIn response to the dealership saying "poor craftsmanship" we do not make the parts we only order from a supply store same as the dealer and sometimes parts are defectiveWe had no idea this happen until nowThe parts were under warranty for the rotors and pads.We did not replace the Calipers only the rotors and pads with tires and a free alignmentwe did service the original calipers and at the time they were full operational at the timeThe customer did not contact us in any way to let us know there was an issue with the brake rotors/pads .The vehicle was driven since October 15th until nowWe pride on service here and I have included a copy of her invoice for your reviewThank you and I hope this will resolve the issue

I do not find it ethical for a business to perform a safety inspection after they do the requested work.  If there were faulty problems with the vehicle, I should have been notified prior to the work being performed.  In my 30 years of dealing with automobile mechanics/dealerships, you are always notified of any and all safety concerns prior to the work being performed.  This situation put my family in grave danger.  At this point, I can only go by what the dealership who properly repaired my vehicle stated.  I am requesting a refund for the brake/rotor/servicing of the calipers which was done at the time.  I feel this is a reasonable request as the problem would not have arose had proper steps been taken and had I been made fully aware of the condition of the vehicle prior to any repair work taking place on my vehicle.  I did contact the company and spoke with someone there who stated "there was nothing they could do about the situation because it was over 30 days since work was done".  I do not feel this exhibits good customer service as my research shows that all automobile parts are under warranty for a full year and that work should also be warrantied.  Since I was told that nothing would be done to help with the problem and I needed my vehicle to be safe, I had no choice but to take the vehicle to the dealership for repairs.  I reiterate that for the situation my family was placed in, I would like to request a refund for the brake/rotor job.
