Dear BBB, We have received a letter of complaint from your office. We have been in business since 1982 and have never had any complaints against us of the 30 million units sold and 280,000 installations of glass block windows. However our reputation is paramount to us and would like to make 2... statements briefly before addressing that this problem is already in the works of solving. 1) The customer HAS NOT contacted us about this problem from the original complaint .Would of been nice if he would of contacted us to schedule before filing a complaint.The customer states that the 5th window installed has 12 glass block in it as compared to the other 4 which have 15 block in it. The 5th window in his house is different size opening than the other 4 hence needing a different arrangement of glass block to properly fill the opening. When explained to the customer he didnt care that the opening was different but wanted the smaller window like the others to be put into the larger opening. He called us about a week after the job was complete to tell us he didnt like it that way . We figured he thought about it and didnt want to go through with changing it out cause he never contacted us again .We have already made the smaller window in production over 4 weeks ago and agreed to smash out the properly sized window and install the undersized window into opening.All the windows installed are the diamond pattern, so all the windows did match, its a matter of the customer wanting all the same size windows into the house regardless of the opening size. The customer has never contacted us since then to schedule the work.We have called [redacted] and left a message to schedule Thursday Oct 29th and havnt heard back yet.In addition we will try the different phone number on your letter than we have in our computer from original install.Thank you,Patrick H [redacted] Monroeville Glass Block LLC [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The respondent failed to include a copy of the email in which it agreed to ship the item at the price quoted in the order confirmation.  Thereafter, within minutes the order was cancelled for the stated reason that the item "was out of stock" despite the continued sale of the items on the website, other items were listed as out of stock but no these.  This is further proof of the unethical nature of the respondent in this transaction.  see below:From: [redacted]>Date: Mon, Nov 23, 2015 at 8:43 AMSubject: RE: From Subway Stamp Shop - shipping chargesTo: [redacted]I checked with our warehouse manager, and we will honor the charges this time.
