Review: A PLUS EXPRESS (N.Y.) is a courier service company specializing in air courier service from U.S. to China. We ordered nutritional products from USANA and used A PLUS EXPRESS to send the packages to our friends in China. The two packages arrived A PLUS EXPRESS (NY) on Jan ** and **, 2013. The company notified us that they were sent out by air on Jan [redacted] and [redacted], 2013 respectively. I paid courier fee USD99.00 and purchased insurance (paid USD41.40) covering the full value of my goods which is USD1380.00. Up until Jun **, 2013, our friends haven't received the packages yet. On Apr **, 2013 (3 months after shipping date), we requested full payout of our goods value since we bought insurance. The company refused to pay and said that even if they refund us, the credit cannot be cashed out but only be used as their company credit for future courier payment. We feel that this is ridiculous and very unreasonable. They are a courier company, not the one we purchased our goods from. How can they keep the insurance payout as credit for courier payment? Their insurance policy never stated that payout for loss cannot be cashed out. We never signed any agreement or contract on this.In middle May, they offered to compensate us by USANA products, but they made faked USANA order documents which cannot be verified. We refused this resolution. They told us that the packages were lost, but suddenly (on June**, 2013) they said that one of them was released from Chinese custom after 4 months of inspection. We asked if there is any custom documentation provided. They said no, and Chinese custom didnt provide any documentation for the inspection (unbelievable). A PLUS EXPRESS NY cannot provide any documents to prove that it is our original package. We feel that we cannot trust them anymore. They cheated us several times. We are very frustrated by their breach of contract, intentionally not curing their breach and fraudulent behavior. It cost us too much time and energy to fight for our rights.Desired Settlement: We request that A PLUS EXPRESS (N.Y.) refund us the courier payment ($99), insurance ($41.4) and goods payment ($1380), which is a total of $1520.40 immediately. We don't want their company credit, but cash.

The A plus Express company had contacted me and offered to pay $1359 instead of $1520.40 as a settlement. We are not satisfied with the amount, but we are really tired of negotiating with them after 3 months' arguments . We reluctantly accepted their propose on Jul **. So you can close the complaint now.
