How many times in twelve must we get a call or a notice saying that they did not receive our mortgage paymentsAmateur hour at its finestDon't bother doing business with these bozos! STAY AWAY!

We have started Mr [redacted] 's job and it has been completed However during the process of the job it took a little longer than anticipated because when his roof was tore off there was addition layers that had to be removed that was not seen or known about during the initial inspection of Mr [redacted] 's roof Keep in mind this is a Flat roof and normally takes four times longer than a shingle roof and that is if we do not run into any issues Which we ran into a lot of things that was unforeseen until we tore the roof off Also this was not a agreement between Mr [redacted] and A Plus Exteriors but also included his insurance company So when dealing with a third party such as a insurance company, which the insurance company was paying and Mr [redacted] was not paying all the unforeseen issues that needed to be done has to be documented and photographed and sent to the insurance company for final ***roval This was done so that Mr [redacted] would not be personally responsible for paying any additional money and the insurance company would be the one paying the supplement In short, the job has been completed, we as a company insures it passes all City and State inspections, and Mr [redacted] has a full warranty on his roof Mr [redacted] has not paid any money out of his pocket more than the agreed upon price As you may know when the insurance company is paying for something there is never a short turn around period MrW [redacted] will inspect Mr [redacted] 's roof If there is anything else A Plus Exteriors can do to help settle this matter please feel free to contact us at ###-###-#### Thank you, Rhonda S [redacted] Office Manager

I am rejecting this response because:Our response:Attached please find a recent quote from *** *** *** (given Feb 24, by *** *** / Project Manager)The quote addresses repairs that were not completed to our satisfaction by D.JWalker Construction, LLC, including valleys that will need repair, bent drip edge and overlapped shinglesAlthough D.J Walker Construction, LLC did provide a discount from the original quote, it will not be sufficient to cover our expense to another contractor to complete the job in the way we feel it should have been done originallyI did not remove our personal information from the quote.We are just providing for the Revdex.com to help show the validity of our concerns.I would also like to note for the record that the following comments taken from D.JWalker's reply are not accurate: "...told me that her husband was a very emotional person and could be abusive."I did not and would never say my spouse is 'abusive'I did say that he was very upset about the lack of workmanship done by the crew and that he could be emotional because he felt disrespected by them. Also, the city inspector did pass the work done by D.JWalker Construction, LLC, but indicated to us that the results of the inspection only indicates if the work meets code, that quality of workmanship is not a consideration in meeting city inspection requirements. Our company as contracted to complete stucco repairs consisting of minor cracking and then apply an elastomeric paint This was completed in April Mrs *** did contact me a few months later and indicated that the paint on the south side of the residence appeared to be
discoloring I assured her that I would stop by and I did she was not home but I did call her and explained to her in the conversation that I did not see and issue She then told me that I need to look at it first thing in the morning to have the correct light on that side of the house to see what she was concerned about I again assured her that I would stop by and contact her if I saw anything alarmingI did go by the residence and could not see anything out of the ordinaryI have not receive any letters or further correspondence that I am aware of to date Our office address is *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** Office number is ###-###-#### and my Mobile number is ###-###-####To be honest my voice mail does get full from time to time but I do try to empty it within hours I also have a new office manager that is trying to answer the phone and learn all of our processes but like any new employee she has made mistakes That being said we have hundreds of customers each year and try to give the best customer service possible Unfortunately you have not been taken care of and that is my mistake I will be happy to access the issues at your residence given the opportunity Please call my office our office and speak with Jodi I will tell her to expect your call and we can arrange an appointment to meet at your residence. First or all our NM-IRC roofing codes have been put in place to insure all consumers get a completed job that was installed to meet or exceed roofing standards for the industry The Las Cruces building Inspector found nothing wrong with the materials or installation on this home If there was a need to repair valleys , drip edge and overlapped shingles the building inspector would have issued a correction notice for such repairs As stated in last response I offered a discount only because I felt bad for Mrs *** If the customer wants to pay another contractor to perform unnecessary work I will give them an additional just to end this Please note that once another contractor does perform any additional work the warranty will be void.Regards,

In response to complaint by *** and *** ***, *** *** *** ***, Las Cruces, NM.When estimating, we estimate an extra day in case of un-planned weather delays. Due to the severe storm we experienced in Southern NM, our crews are working overtime, as we are booking appointments
approximately 3-weeks out. Additionally, we have almost doubled our crew sizes in order to catch up. Here are the chain of events that occurred:The Job completed: Roof is an Owens Corning Duration series limited lifetime Shingle. The job consisted of shingle replacement job. After Job completion: Mrs*** *** called Byron, my estimator, and informed him that her husband did not want to see Byron on the job again. She then asked him that I come over and have me look at the job. Upon arrival, she met me outside and quietly told me that her husband was a very emotional person and could be abusive. After discussing the roof with her, she explained she had a concern with shingles that had not settled, which is typical for shingle replacement in the winter. I explained to her that the duration series shingle is a very heavy shingle and that when the weather gets hot, the singles will lay down better (with heat). She then asked her husband to come outside. He proceeded to cuss me out, verbally abuse me, and his exact words included "you gang *** my roof. There is no way you could have done a good job because you did it so fast." He also told me that he begged the City Building Inspector to fail the roof inspection, but the City Building Inspector responded that there was nothing wrong with the roof and did not even write a correction notice. As I was leaving, he proceeded to ask me for a discount. I did not even respond due to his very violent nature and language. I simply left.Because his wife was so nice, reasonable, and obviously very embarrassed by her husband's behavior, I did give her a discount of 5%. This was her response;Hi Darrell, I appreciate the discount and your consideration in dealing with a sensitive situationI will have the check for the remaining balance in the mail to you tomorrow am.Thank you,*** *They issued the final check and I was able to move past this client. I do not believe there is any roofing professional that would get on that roof and say it looked years old, as the entire roof is brand new, high quality materials. The job took two day s which is typical for a roof this size, in good weather conditions with a 4-man crew. I gave a year labor warranty, which is above the norm for this area. I carry all necessary licenses, bonding and insurance. Regards,

I will be more than happy to have Mr. W[redacted] come by my house and look at the issues I have written about.  However, I did speak to his secretary prior to filing with the Revdex.com and she related she would have him contact me or a representative would and still heard from no one.   As I have been trying to reach Mr. Walker since 2014 .... I do accept his offer of coming by my house when I am here as all the gates to the backyard are kept locked and have been since 2006 and I would like to be present when this inspection occurs.  If not done in a reasonable time (30 days) I will continue the complaint.  I do not wish to get into a "he said, she said" at this point but I do have issues with several items Mr W[redacted] mentioned. Thank you,[redacted]###-###-####
