Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This response is full of lies and deceit My husband ( [redacted] ) and I have made multiple attempts to contact [redacted] to resolve this issue I have all emails, text, certified letter, etc For me, text is a better form of communication as I'm constantly in and out with patients However, my husband was the one who would frequently be on the phone with [redacted] about this matter [redacted] has not offed a fair solution to fix this matter We also have tried compromising and offering him alternatives for fixing the problem His work has been underpar and we want someone who actually KNOWS what they are doing to fix the firepit His contractor [redacted] was suppose to do it, but [redacted] was trying to tell him how it was supposed to be fixed It wasn't until we actually had [redacted] come out to see the mess of a firepit they left that [redacted] realized the extent of 'repairs' that would need to be made It wasn't just filling the cracks with more cement and adding a border as [redacted] suggested Rather, it was to remove the entire thing and start from scratch When [redacted] did not want to pay another contractor to do the work, we offered him to let his "people" do the work with the condition that he hired [redacted] (or any other masonry specialist of our choosing) to supervise his workers and ensure it was being done right Again, this did not work for him He has now tried to brush this off on his landscape irrigator ( [redacted] ), by stating that he no longer owns the company and has moved to Dallas A complaint was made with Home Advisor as well They had no record of change of ownership for this company When he was contacted, [redacted] told them [redacted] now owned the company and provided a number that he also mentioned he did not know whether or not it was still a working number How do you not know if it's a working number if you 'sold' the company to that person? I called the phone number and it rang to a voicemail box that is full Finally, the person called me back and it was *** I informed him that [redacted] has stated he now owns the company and the poor man was shocked and stated that he did not in fact own the company He also said that [redacted] told them how he wanted the fire pit done and what the budget was to get it done So, [redacted] never even considered getting [redacted] to do the work And that's so he could pocket some of that money I'm sure I am not sure what the budget was that [redacted] provided to *** But, for $12500, the work they did doesn't show that it was a $project I have attached pictures of the fire pit Since I can only attach four pictures I have put those of the firepit, although I have at least attachments, if not more, that would help make you see the quality of his work is poor! Since I initiated this complaint other matters have come to our attention that need to be replaced including dead grass, the shed base that is off about foot on the length so we can't even place the shed on top despite giving [redacted] the exact dimensions that it needed to be, and the cost for the cable cord that was cut by his worker the FIRST day of the project (ATT is charging us $for having to come out to replace it) He needs to be responsible for the unsightly work he's done and reimburse us our money! Thank you! Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** *** is not telling the truth He had me advance him $and he then wanted more money I had to get someone else to redo the deck to the correct size We found one sprinkler not capped under the deck.He would not give me any type of credit and ordered very few materials I suggest he spent the upfront monies and then tried to make cuts to the job.The sprinkler system was repaired for $when he charged $1350.00.He bid on the job and moving sprinkler heads was part of the job.He was not in business for years but moire like yearHe does not have a license to work on irrigation systems. He uses all sub contractors but told me he had full time employees. Why would I want a smaller deck than paid for?? This is a person that is a fast talker and has no idea what he is doing.

Hi [redacted],  I [redacted] ( Former Supervisor  ) for A Plus Landscaping has made several attempts  by email, phone, and text messages to contact [redacted]  [redacted] about the problem with the fireplace. We had offered her warranty for the Landscaping project and was willing  to...

see about getting this matter resolved. Apparently she doesn't want us to fix the problem she rather have another contractor come and do the work and for a higher price and for us to pay and I told her that we done the work so it's our responsibility to fix the matter but she doesn't want that. I've tried to contact Mrs. [redacted]  but she will not answer my calls or respond back to me at all. [redacted]

Hi [redacted],Had a contract with [redacted] for a 15 X 20 Deck and an irrigation system. The deck at that size would cover 3 sprinkler heads which [redacted] wife needed her rose bushes watered so we had to resize the deck to uncover the sprinkler heads to water the flowers. [redacted] agreed to resize to a 12X15...

deck, irrigation was completed and as we started building the deck he wanted to go back to the 15X20 which would cause irrigation to be covered which is the reason we made the deck smaller, which he was aware of. Cost went from $7200 so we knocked off $1200 to make it a $6000 project. [redacted] then would not allow us complete project because we would need to expand the sprinkler service to not by covered by deck, factored cost to redo sprinklers and resize deck to original agreement but [redacted] wanted the price to be $6000 which was not our agreement. He then would not allow us to finish the project. Because the project was going to be completed that same day, I had asked Mr. [redacted] if he was wanting to go back with the 15x20ft decking, then instead of covering the 3 sprinkler heads, we can move them so his wife bushes that she wanted planted will get watered, but we have to adjust the price, Mr. [redacted] refused to the offer, and so I told him then let's just finish the project. Mr. [redacted] was angry because we were going to charge him for the moving of the sprinkler heads and PVC pipes, not looking at the amount of work it would cost me to pay my team for the extra labor work. Mr. [redacted] was not willing to meet me halfway, and demanded us to leave. On 05/22/2017 Mr. [redacted] requested a chargeback in the amount of $1000.00 from my Business account which was through his credit card. The chargeback was granted, and even though I could have fought the case, I just let him have the money. I was still owed $1500.00 from Mr. [redacted] for the labor work me and my team had already done, but I was willing to just look at it as a lost. And now with the chargeback amount that was taken from my account, I feel that I have lost a lot of money cause I had to pay out of my own pocket. What more does this man what from me, I already lost Total $2500.00. So IU am asking for you [redacted] to please look at my side as well. Thank you for taking the time to look at my ststement. Thanks, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:This response is full of lies and deceit.  My husband ([redacted]) and I have made multiple attempts to contact [redacted] to resolve this issue.  I have all emails, text, certified letter, etc.  For me, text is a better form of communication as I'm constantly in and out with patients.  However, my husband was the one who would frequently be on the phone with [redacted] about this matter.  [redacted] has not offed a fair solution to fix this matter.  We also have tried compromising and offering him alternatives for fixing the problem.  His work has been underpar and we want someone who actually KNOWS what they are doing to fix the firepit.  His contractor [redacted] was suppose to do it, but [redacted] was trying to tell him how it was supposed to be fixed.  It wasn't until we actually had [redacted] come out to see the mess of a firepit they left that [redacted] realized the extent of 'repairs' that would need to be made.  It wasn't just filling the cracks with more cement and adding a border as [redacted] suggested.  Rather, it was to remove the entire thing and start from scratch.  When [redacted] did not want to pay another contractor to do the work, we offered him to let his "people" do the work with the condition that he hired [redacted] (or any other masonry specialist of our choosing) to supervise his workers and ensure it was being done right.  Again, this did not work for him.  He has now tried to brush this off on his landscape irrigator ([redacted]), by stating that he no longer owns the company and has moved to Dallas.  A complaint was made with Home Advisor as well.  They had no record of change of ownership for this company.  When he was contacted, [redacted] told them [redacted] now owned the company and provided a number that he also mentioned he did not know whether or not it was still a working number.  How do you not know if it's a working number if you 'sold' the company to that person?  I called the phone number and it rang to a voicemail box that is full.  Finally, the person called me back and it was [redacted].  I informed him that [redacted] has stated he now owns the company and the poor man was shocked and stated that he did not in fact own the company.  He also said that [redacted] told them how he wanted the fire pit done and what the budget was to get it done.  So, [redacted] never even considered getting [redacted] to do the work.  And that's so he could pocket some of that money I'm sure.  I am not sure what the budget was that [redacted] provided to [redacted].  But, for $12500, the work they did doesn't show that it was a $12500 project.  I have attached pictures of the fire pit.  Since I can only attach four pictures I have put those of the firepit, although I have at least 20 attachments, if not more, that would help make you see the quality of his work is poor!  Since I initiated this complaint other matters have come to our attention that need to be replaced including dead grass, the shed base that is off about 1 foot on the length so we can't even place the shed on top despite giving [redacted] the exact dimensions that it needed to be, and the cost for the cable cord that was cut by his worker the FIRST day of the project (ATT is charging us $200 for having to come out to replace it).  He needs to be responsible for the unsightly work he's done and reimburse us our money!  Thank you!
