Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] The company has reached out to me but clearly by them still just offering to take half off the moving cost which was $is still not acceptable $does not even come close to the damages done to my furniture, that is why I choose to have the Revdex.com involvedI want the company to waive the moving cost of $because I could have done a better job then they did The damages are unacceptable I put this complaint in mentioned my ottoman and dining room set, I did not even mention other items that belonged to me that were damaged I cared most about the new furniture which was the ottoman and dining room set (all the chairs are very visibly scratched up with scratched, but worst of all are the gauges Then my brand new ottoman that they broke the leg of because of neglect done to move the items correctly, they tried to fix with TAPE!!! I mean how am I supposed to be ok with that outcome of fixing the ottoman that I cant even use properly now because it topples over due to the leg falling off I want a better resolution then half off the charge of the moving cost It does not come close to an acceptable outcome for all the damages done to my furniture Regards, [redacted]

I have not reached back out to the company because what they want to compensate us is half off the moving cost which would be $400. Again and the company has the original email from me with the pictures of some of the damages done to my furniture but $does not even cover the cost of damages done. And yes we had the basic insurance because I was not aware that I needed to put the extra insurance on each one of my items. I was told over the phone by ** at the company that we could have chosen to put the extra insurance on any items that were fragile and or oddly shaped so we would be covered. So naturally that we mean that I should have put the extra insurance on my dining room chairs ?!!!??? I mean really that is ridiculous my dining room chairs would not be considered fragile or oddly shaped, they are everyday dining room chairs that are now damaged because they were clearly not wrapped up properly or with careSo they keep mentioned the insurance but do they seriously think or would anyone think that you would need to put extra insurance on chairs! Then were would it end......that would mean I would have had to put the extra insurance on every single individual items. I just want what is fair or at least come close to fair. I am not trying to be difficult but numerous people have told me not to settle with the company offering $400. We hired them with the intention that would move us out of our house like a moving company should. I could have rented a *** truck and thrown everything into the back of it if I was ok with the damages that would come from throwing everything on top of each other without the proper moving materials such as blankets to over furniture with so they don't get scratched etc when they are in the truck. These damages I speak of are not wear and tear of moving. I understand that of course I could expect a couple of scratches but I can not accept gauges in my furniture. My dining room set looks terrible, why should I accept that when I hired A- Plus moving company precisely so that didn't happen when moving

We have offered this customer a settlement for this dispute. This customer went with the free basic insurance option of $0.60 per LBS we have the invoices from all the moves that were signed and also dated where they chose to go with the free basic insurance option. We have offered this customer a...

bigger refund then the $0.60 per pound option that she went with. Also to make something very clear our movers did not steal anything these accusations are false.

The company has reached out to me but clearly by them still just offering to take half off the moving cost which was $800 is still not acceptable.  $400 does not even come close to the damages done to my furniture, that is why I choose to have the Revdex.com involved. I want the company to waive the moving cost of $800 because I could have done a better job then they did.  The damages are unacceptable.  I put this complaint in mentioned my ottoman and dining room set, I did not even mention other items that belonged to me that were damaged.  I cared most about the new furniture which was the ottoman and dining room set (all the chairs are very visibly scratched up with scratched, but worst of all are the gauges.  Then my brand new ottoman that they broke the leg of because of neglect done to move the items correctly, they tried to fix with TAPE!!! Nobody from A-Plus had any verbal discussion with us about insurance, and we were never given any alternative options regarding insurance. However, the insurance is moot because we feel strongly that the extensive damages were not accidental but instead were caused by A-Plus's incompetence, unprofessionalism, and negligent actions in not taking proper care and caution with packing and transporting the personal belongings which we placed in their care. Because of A-Plus, we now have to spend $2,425 to replace our china, $966.88 to get our furniture repaired, $1500 to buy a new mattress to replace the one they broke, plus other expenses to replace the other broken items. We were extremely dissatisfied with the packing and moving services they provided, do not feel that they competently or properly performed the services for which we paid them, and if they refuse to make right what they damaged, we demand a full refund of the $3,653.18 we paid them. $3,653.18

The best that we can do is $2,000.00Thank you,

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. Two days ago, I was told, the "best we can do is $1,950," and the week before that, "the best we can do is $1,900." Now, A-Plus says "the best we can do is $2,000." I am not interested in a nickel-and-dime incremental negotiation at this point. Since A-Plus is refusing to reimburse us for the expenses we are going to have to incur to replace and/or repair the significant damages they caused, I simply want a full refund of what we paid to A-Plus because they did not properly or professionally provide the services for which we paid them. We will not consider this issue resolved until A-Plus provides us a full and prompt refund of the $3,653.18.   Regards,

We have tried several times to contact this customer, she nor her husband ever get back to us. She can call us anytime at [redacted] to discuss this issue. This customer had the basic insurance option of $0.60 cents per pound that she picked out and also signed off on. We wanted and still do want to compensate her more then insurance would compensate her. But she needs to call us. Reagrds
