A Plus Paving

Paving of basketbal court near house has resulted in water running up against foundation and into basement.
I received a quote from [redacted] at A Plus Paving to have them excavate and pave a basketball court behind our house in North Andover, MA. One concern I had was the court was going to be very close to the back of the house. On one side it is only 2 feet away from the foundation and on another side it goes right up to the foundation. [redacted] assured me that he would slope the court away from the house so that the water would not be an issue. On 4/29/13 A Plus paving did the work and [redacted] was there to actually work on the project. When I got home from work and saw the finished court, I could easily see that the court slopes directly towards the house and not away from it. I called [redacted] the next day and he suggested waiting to see what happens when it rains before trying to fix anything. If I have any issues after it rains then I should call him right away and he would take care of it. After a week we got some heavy rain and the water ran right towards the house as I expected it would and we got water in our basement which is normally dry. I called [redacted] and he said he would come out and look at it. I have since called him 3 other times and each time he would give me a specific day that he would be out to look at it, but would never show up. I last called him on 6/21/13 and have yet to receive a call back. At this point I am going to start the process of calling someone else to come out and correct it and feel that A Plus paving should compensate me for having it fixed.
