We have had numerous problems with our pool running properly since A Plus Pools serviced/repaired our pool. Some of those problems are as follows.... The motor was put on improperly causing it to burn out more than once, also causing our backyard to flood more than once causing us extra expenses with our water bill. There was a leak that was repaired, that is still leaking, and we were also told by [redacted] that the pop ups that weren't working would cost a few hundred dollars to replace, when infact there was just a piece of plastic stuck in the device. If he would have taken a second to open it up he would have found this was the problem. [redacted] has informed us of personal problems within his family and co-owner Susan on more than once occasion, of which caused some discrepancy with communication, and billing issues. Also, when confronted with descrepancies, [redacted] doesn't let you get a word in edgewise, and then usually just hangs up the phone. We have cancelled services with A Plus Pools and have since then hired a new pool company. This new company took one look at the motor, and told us it was put on incorrectly, which would have caused the motor to in fact burn up. He also took a second and opened the device for the pop ups and discovered that there was just a piece of plastic clogging it, once he removed this object the pop ups work just fine. Upon his arrival he also noticed immediately that the piping that had been repaired from A Plus Pools is also not done correctly and is causing the leak. Our new pool company is composing a list of all the issues he found/repaired upon his arrival after A Plus Pools attempted but failed to repair properly. We have had to pay the new pool company to fix A Plus Pools mistakes, as well as extra costs have been incurred on our water bills for the flooding of our backyard.
