A Plus Real Estate School Reviews (%countItem)

I enrolled in real estate school. The Owner took my money and never issued me a copy of my contract. The instructor at the time was ok however there were several students that already complained about the instructor. I started in the middle of a book that I didn't even have the right material in. This was in the middle of an existing class. The instructor stated oh This will all make sense in a few weeks when we circle back to it. That was the first sign that I should have paid closer attention to. The material was foreign to everyone one they said, none of which made any sense. I have 2 college degrees so I am capable of learning. I spoke to the owner numerous times about numerous issue and all I kept getting from her is the run around. which seemed to be the same thing that other students were getting. I own a business and I know hearing complaints can be hard, but you have to do something about them or they will continue. After numerous run arounds and complaints I emailed the owner as a cry for help. I got nothing from her. Once I realized that she is running a racketeering operation I reached out one last time before I was going to take legal action. Instead of even calling me back and trying to salvage anything that I could she kicked me out of the class and called the cops to threaten to arrest me if I returned. I simply asked very professionally to resolve the issue and instead she takes my money and tries to run with it. This company and the owner are a joke and should be taken to court and shut down. They have unlicensed people teaching a real estate course and they actually do not know the material. How is this?

*** enrolled with A Plus Real Estate School on November 1, 2017. He paid in full $1025.00 and received the Enrollment contract which he filled out and signed along with fingerprinting information, PSI state exams information and materials for class. The Enrollment contract is very explicit with its refund policy. The course is a 7 to 8 week course which *** came through the course several times. *** started the course in a new section which is included with other sections in the book. The course is ongoing so a student may start and finish at the place where they started. We always go in the same rotation. Students may start at the beginning of any of the sections. *** attended 5 classes out of 15 classes in November. He attended 5 classes out of 12 classes in December, he attended 5 classes in January out of 18 classes, he attended 2 classes in February out of 16 classes and 1 class in March which was March 5. He sent me an email on March 21 stating he wanted a refund and he had an attorney and he was going to sue me and he was going to take extreme measures. I did not reply to this email for several reasons. One he mentioned that he had an attorney and the other reason was he said he was going to take extreme measures. On March 26, I received numerous emails from him telling me that he was coming to class and taking extreme measures. I reached out to the Westminster police dept and an officer called him. I have a voice mail from the officer which states that after his conversation with *** that I should be very cautious. The officers were outside the building in case he showed up for class, as he is not allowed in the school. *** was given every opportunity to come to class and finish. He chose to only attend a few classes a month which would keep him behind all the other students. He also mentioned that his books did not have any notes from him in them and he wanted a refund for his books. A student should be taking numerous notes and answering all of the quizzes in the material.

A Plus Real Estate School gave *** every opportunity to come to the classes and come to Saturday review sessions if he had questions. He failed to come to any review sessions. A student must attend classes and do the material in order to understand the course. It was not the fault of the instructor that *** would only attend sporadically and you cannot blame an instructor for doing poorly if you do not attend classes and do the work. *** was given every opportunity from November thru March 25 to do the class. The course is only an 8 week course and he was allowed to come for 4 months.
