A Plus Tailors and Cleaners

I had taken my [redacted] jacket to have a spot cleaned from it. When I picked up the jacket on 10/31 I noticed that the fur on the hood of it had been ruined. Looks as if they fur had been melted. I went back in on 11/1 and spoke to an employee who told me they have a procedure for when something like this happens and they will reimburse me for my jacket. She told me I would get a phone call on Monday from a manager. I had to call them back because I never received the phone call I was promised. Again I was told I would get a call back and again I did not. When I finally did get to speak to a manager I was told that the drycleaner had washed the jacket according to the care label "Cold water only" so it was a manufactures defect and they would give me a manufactures defect form and I could take the jacket back to [redacted] and they would replace it. I explained to her that I had paid cash for the jacket and did not have the receipt as I had purchased it last season. She assured me this wouldn't be a problem. I took the jacket back to [redacted]s and was told by the store manager that they could not do anything because the drycleaner had written that he followed the care label "cold water only" but the care label says "do not dry clean, Machine wash warm with like colors" so he clearly lied or didn't read the tag. The Manager also stated that it clearly looked like they dry cleaned because the fur was melted. not only was this completely inconvenient for me to be spending time at the mall to deal with this along with being late for my sons soccer game , it was extremely embarrassing. I called the store to let them know that I had went to [redacted]s and they were not going to honor the manufactures defect warranty as I was told they would She told me she would speak with the drycleaner and he would probably have to leave me a check for reimbursement. Again I was told I would get a phone call and again I had to call back and She told me that the drycleaner was going to try and call [redacted]s about it and they would get back to me in a day or two I told her this was going on for almost 2 weeks now with out a jacket and it is freezing out and I wanted to talk to owner. The Owner ,[redacted] called me back and I told him all of what was going on. He said the only thing he could do was replace the fur on the jacket and give me a 25 dollar store credit towards dry cleaning. I told him that there is no reason why I should have gone almost 2 weeks with out a jacket and as a long time customer this was unacceptable . He insisted that all he could do was replace fur and give store credit. After having no choice I dropped the jacket off to be fixed. I picked up my jacket yesterday and the fur on the jacket is now a completely different color (and a lot less fur) then what it was and it fur is not even on each side of the jacket. I paid 120.00 for this jacket last season, they ruined the jacket and all I asked was for them to replace it as I was told that by two different employees I would be.

One week before my daughters prom her zipper to the dress broke. I took it to have a new zipper put in on April 26th to this A plus alterations and cleaners. I picked up the dress on May 3rd and was assured the zipper was replaced. I paid $20 and took the dress home. I was untrusting since the zipper looked like the same one. I did not want it fixed because I had fixed it once but it rebroke. My daughter called me frantic on prom night from her girlfriends, the zipper broke again in the same spot. It is obvious they never put in the new zipper. I went back to show them and was told the owner was on a vacation. I was promised a phone call and never received one. My daughters prom night was semi ruined since I had to use safety pins all along the side of the dress. can you help me?
