This is in regard to the letter I received from the Revdex.com the morning of February 20,2015 in reference to your assigned 10 number [redacted]. The name ofthe customer you are referring tois [redacted] and until a receive your letter I had no idea there was even a problem...

normally thecustomer would have concerns they would contact me and explain the problem and the customer Iwould work out a remedy however in this case I was never contacted. I responded to the Initial servicecall at the customer's location I did a basic check of the laptop In question and concluded that therepairs needed would take too long to complete at her residence. Before I remove the laptop Iexplained to the customer what was required I stated that her laptop was in such disarray that themachine needed to be fonnatted and recovered to the point that it was when the machine wasoriginally purchased using the recovery image of her original hard drive. After this her documents andassociated data indud!ng music and pictures were saved extemallyto be reloaded after the factoryImage was recovered. All 150+ updates were Installed from Microsoft and a very good antivirusprogram was also installed on the laptop In question. After this Is done the data was uploaded and thelaptop was tested and found to be virus free and In good working order. At the time of the repair when Ireinstalled her e-mail account I was greeted with over 12,000 e-mails on the server of her Internetprovider these were very difficult to remove considering the time it would take to do it [redacted] said whenI spoke to her about it that she would remove them because she was aware of the time factor that Itwould take to remove them and she had done that before, the machine was delivered and up untiltoday I had heard absolutely nothing regarding the problems with her laptOp. As for your desiredsettlement that she wishes someone else to repair her machine and have me pay the bill this would beout of the question if I could speak to her personally I'm sure we could resolve this In a reasonablemanner and I will be glad to work out an arrangement with this customer that Is satisfactory to bothparties. It seems that Mrs. [redacted] Is very Internet active and possibly not too careful about the sitesthat she visits that coupled with the fact that apparently lots of advertisers have her e-mail address andshe gets a lot of junk mall and spam I suggested that she change her e-mail address this apparently wasrejected. All reading this letter must realize that once a customer gets a computer and is Internet activethey are susceptible to either intentional or unintentional data Infiltrating that specific computer allantivirus software will allow a user to download anything off the net that they wish If they agree to do itas a technician I have absolutely no control of what a customer does with their computer after theyreceive a perfectly good and worklns unit from me once the job is done. I can certainly understand theplight that Mrs. [redacted] has experienced however I can assure you and all reading this letter that myInvolvement regarding problems that occurred with this laptop after delivery had nothing to do with meor my repair.Sincerely[redacted]
