A Plus Towing

The company has had my truck for over 5 months and has not completed work that was promised to be finished in 3 weeks time for $1300 paid advance. The owner of the company has had my truck for over 4 months and has not completed work that was promised to be finished in 3 weeks time. The owner refuses to refund a $1375 that was given to him to purchase a new engine. The arrangement was to replace my 1998 F-150 Ford's engine for an agreed price of $1,600 included labor fee's in three to four weeks maximum. The owner refuses to answer the phone and has not up-dated me as to what is going on. I call around 9 times a day trying to reach him and there is not an answer. He is never at his shop. When he is reached it is always an excuse as to why the truck is not running. He refuses to refund are money stating "the company he received the engine from is sending him another and will not refund." We paid ([redacted])by a check through Heartland Bank in([redacted]), check number ([redacted])00 deposited on 11-21-11.
