Revdex.com ID# *** Ms***Ms*** called late on December and said that her vehicle was acting up and she needed it to be towed in for some warranty workThis was no problem and even though towing is not covered under the warranty, for good customer service we told her we
would cover it so she was not out any moneyIt was late in the day when she called and there was no way we had enough time to get it picked up that eveningShe was asked to call back the next day to remind us to dispatch a tow truck when she was ready to have it picked upWe never got a call on December 23rd and we were open late because of the holidays from 8A.Mto 7P.Mwe did have a slightly short day on Christmas eve working from 8A.Mto 4P.MWe were closed for Christmas dayAll the other days Ms*** Mentioned she called we were open all day and there was nothing wrong with our phones or phone numberWe checked the answering machine every morning and have no messages from herThe shop also has a walk in option, if she was calling an incorrect number or problem with her phone, there is a physical location fully staffed for her to go to and inquire when her vehicle can be towed.A Plus Transmission is happy to tow in Ms***'s vehicle at any timeWe have never denied a customer a repair that is covered under the warranty and never willNo refund will be given as there is nothing wrong with our phones and no messages were left after hoursThe transmission repair is fully covered under a full month or 12,mile warranty for parts and labor on the entire transmission assembly and installationwe will be happy to tow in the vehicle at no charge, if you have any problem contacting us by phone please come by the location Monday through Friday 8A.Mto 6P.Mor on Saturday 8A.MTo 1P.M.Thank You,David D***General ManagerA Plus Transmission-Stafford***

A Plus Transmission does not see how it is possible not to be able to contact us with all the options availableThere are multiple phone lines, there is e-mail for the corperate office which you sent this complaint to and it is forwarded to the general manager and shop locationThere is the Revdex.com which you contacted and they contacted us,and the physical shop locationYou could have called another one of the locations in houston letting them know that you couldn't get through. We also checked on the taxi ride it is about $from the address you gave usyou didn't have the $but bought a new car?
We are sorry if you had a problem with your transmission repair but there will be no refund on the basis you couldn't contact usWhat we will be willing to do is stand behind the transmission parts and labor warranty for the dealership that has the broken carThis way they can have the transmission repaired at no cost to them so they can resell itThen they should be able to give you more money for an operating trade in instead of a broken oneThat way you get more money twords your new car or lower your payments
Thank You,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
I am not satisfied because my boyfriend stayed up until 8 am December 23rd and called until 12 pm and left several messages there is no way for him to call a wrong number because it is programmed in his phone and also on the internet and programmed in my phone also I called the number several times and no one picked up. There was no way to get to the physical address because our car was broken hence needing to be towed and we had no other alternative to get there because we had no money for a ride or taxi. A refund is the only acceptable option because my vehicle wasn't picked up to be looked at My boyfriend didn't receive any call backs from the shop and my only option was to trade in my car because it couldn't be driven. Thanks.
Regards, [redacted]

I took in my vehicle to A+ Transmission on Dec. [redacted], 2013 and spoke with mechanic. Mechanic told me repair needed seem to be 3rd passing gear & it was minor. Front desk employee said fee was $495 for diagnostic on transmission. He said they were backed up by the Revdex.com, so I was convinced they were a reputable business. After not hearing from them, I called to see if my vehicle was ready. Front Desk employee made it sound like it was nothing major on 1/*. He said in order for him to begin work he needed last 4 digits of my SSN, which made me uneasy. I spoke with my wife and we decided to take vehicle to the dealer. Front desk person said it was too late, he already had removed my transmission after getting off the phone with me. I didn't hear from staff so I went in shop on Jan. [redacted]. Another customer had to call the police to get his car. Customer stated A+Transmission had ripped him off. Front desk staff said he ordered a new torque converter for my van, but it didn't fit, so he had to send mine to get remodified. I called on 1/** and front staff said they were waiting on a pressure switch. I went in on 1/** to pick up van. Front desk staff refused to allow me to test drive my van. I asked if employee could go with me. He refused and said I had to pay first. I had to pay $3145 after $100 coupon, which I had to take out a loan for. My van was left empty of gas. As I nearly got home I change gears, there was a 2-3 second hesitation on driving gear. I called A+transmission & was told to bring it back the following day & it was safe to drive in that condition. I said no & took it right back to them. My van seems worse then when I took it in and I'm out $3145 after having my van in their shop for over 4 weeks. Van only has 107,000 miles and is a 2009. Not sure to believe them. New Torque Coverter should have fitted. Still out of a vehicle on 1/[redacted] and paid too much money. They should have allowed me to test drive my van before paying. Now I'm out $3145 and out a vehicle still.
