Tell us why here..Mr. [redacted] purchased a Used 2012 Ram 2500 VIN# [redacted] with 64,590 miles on April 21, 2017. Mr. [redacted] was informed and was given a free 3 month 3,000 mile Limited power train warranty. Customer was also informed by A Quality Auto Sales of remainder of factory...
warranty. On June 19. 2017 Mr. [redacted] informed A Quality Auto Sales that he was having problems with the vehicle. At that time A Quality Auto Sales informed Mr. [redacted] to bring the vehicle to A Quality Auto Sales for diagnosis. Later that day at time of arrival Mr. [redacted] informed us that the vehicle was starting but the transmission would not engage. At that time Shawn R[redacted] and Gerald L[redacted] explained to Mr. [redacted] that wear and tear items like Clutches are not covered under the warranties. If it was a covered item we would get it repaired for him under the warrnaty. We explained to Mr. [redacted] that we would take the vehicle to Larry H. Miller for diagnosis. Mr. [redacted] felt the Clutch should of been covered by the Manufacture due to the amount of miles on the vehicle at that time. Again we reiterated to Mr. [redacted] that normal wear and tear items are not covered and if the clutch was determined to be the cause of failure then A Quality Auto Sales would take the vehicle to one of their preferred Repair Facility to obtain a estimate of repair at A Quality Auto Sales reduced pricing on parts and labor and Mr. [redacted] agreed. Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was towed to Larry H. Miller at A Quality Auto Sales expense. Larry H. Miller determined the cause of failure not to be a covered item under the manufacture warranty. At this time we informed Mr. [redacted] of Larry H. Millers findings. Vehicle needed a Clutch and fly wheel. A Quality Auto Sales had paid for this diagnosis from Larry H. Miller for the vehicle to be release. Please see attached Document. To this day Mr. [redacted] has not reimbursed A Quality Auto Sales for Larry H. Miller'd diagnosis. Being that it was a non covered item Mr. [redacted] is responsible for diagnosis and break down. As Agreed A Quality Auto Sales took the vehicle to have a estimate of repair done for Mr. [redacted]. Later that day Mr. [redacted] informed us that he wanted us to pay to have the vehicle towed to a repair shop of his choice. Shawn let Mr. [redacted] know that he would need to have the vehicle towed at his expense. A Quality Auto Sales empathizes in where Mr. [redacted] has to repair his recently purchased used vehicle and has made every attempt to help Mr. [redacted] with his repair needs. We are saddened that Mr. [redacted] is upset! Again we have attempted to work with Mr. [redacted]. Please see A Quality Auto Sales attached supporting documents for Mr. [redacted]'s sale.
