On 3-4-11, I talked with Robert Raines concerning patching 2 areas, one small & one large & seal coating entire driveway. He promised me he would do a quality job. When I decided to have the work done, I called his office & his mother said she would have Robert to call & make appt. to do the work. Several days later Robert called & said he was coming out to do my driveway without asking me if this would be a good time for me. I told him at that time I would call him back because my wife had a knee replacement & my sister living below me might need to get out for a doctor's appt. I called him back the time I said I would & left message not to do the driveway because the weather forecast was giving hard rains for 2-3 days. He didn't return my phone call & showed up the next morning to do the work. My wife was at home & told him at that time not to do the work because of the rain. He said that he had already scheduled his employees & materials to be delivered. He had my wife to call me at work & assured us several times if we would permit him to do the job that we would be satisfied with the driveway. Before the job was finished it was raining heavily & even washed the paving coating down in the horse pasture.

His wife called the same day before the job was complete requesting full payment. After receiving the third call, we agreed to pay.

We were very dissatisfied with his work & promised to return to recoat where the rain had damaged it. He has not returned.
