We have been using A Quality Pool service for a while now but all of a sudden their entire attitude has changed. Their service has gotten sloppy and they do not payu any attention to details as they used to.
The problems started a few months ago when their service guy broke one of the statues by our poolside. Now this statue was a part of a set 4 chinese warrior statues which we had purchased from China on a trip there.
I asked for compensation and for the longest time no one called me back. I have a very busy travel schedule and could not follow up with them regularily but whenever I called I was told tha they wil check with the owner. No one ever got back to me.
Then a few weeks ago our automatic pool cleaner stopped working and the technician took it out and to the workshop without even asking us. I got a message on my phone a few days later asking if I would like them to repair the cleaner and that it would cost x amount of money. I said no, because I was not happy with the performance of that cleaner and I would be getting a new one.
I got a new robotic cleaner and out it in the pool a couple weeks later but that did not work properly either so I returned it and am waiting for a replacement.
In the meantime, the pool technician came to service the pool on Friday, March 30th. Incidentally I was at home and was having lunch. I saw him outside and thought I would go and talk to him after I finished lunch.
he seemed to be looking around doing nothing much.
I finished lunch and went out but he was gone. The pool was still very dirty and another statue had been broken!!
I called the office and spoke to the lady who answered the phone and told her everything. She said someone will call me back shortly. No one did. I waited a few hours and called again. She said she could not get a hold of anyone. I waited and called agin before they closed. She then put me in touch with [redacted] who said he would come by the next morning. I asked him to call me before he came so I could make sure I was there to talk to him. He never called and I don't think he came either because the pool was still dirty.
I called teir office on Monday and asked to speak with the owner. I was told he will call me back.
Surprisingly, [redacted], the owner called me back within 30 minutes buy he was not helpful at all. On the contrary he was downright rude and condescending.
He refused to acknowledge that his techinician broke the statues.
He refused to believe me that the pool was left unclean by his technician. He said' "I tracked the techincian and he was there for 48 minutes".
Now I get my pool serviced every other week due to the fact that it is a salt pool and rarely needs chemicals.
This seemed to be a big thing with [redacted] who apparently wants that I pay for weekly service if I want my pool to be clean.
I have gotten calls from their office many times asking if I wanted to switch to weekly service and I said no.
The fact of the matter here is that A Quality Pool Service have not been cleaning my pool properly for a few months now.
They have casued damage to my property.
I need to be refunded for the statues. the entire set is worthless now that 2 are broken. The value of the set is $2500.00 This included the shipping and handling cost I paid for these to be crated and shipped from China to here.
I need to be refunded for the past 2 months of pool service also as they have not cleaned my pool at all nor added salt or any conditioner.
