Company states: I have spoken with the consumer and got the clock and I am in the process of fixing it for the consumer

prongs were dirty. He immediately accused me of stealing the diamond. I told him that I would never do something like that. He stated that he was going to call the cops. I said okay call. I told him, just to go about two blocks up the street, my friend is a jeweler and that he could replace the diamond. I knew it wasnt going to be alot of money because of the size of the prong setting. I told him after he was done there to come back. He went to my friend the jeweler and the owner asked him to write his information on the ticket, name, address, telephone etc He said he didnt want to and got mad at him and left. The consumer can not get the replacement that I didnt even lose because he didnt follow that business rules. The owner was going to give me the ticket to pay for it, but no, he didnt want to comply."

Consumer states: This is the third time allowing the company to take the clock and fix it. I was informed that this will take approximately 2 weeks. At which time, if it is not fixed I will call back.

Review: On 3/02/16, I took my diamond ring to A Quality Watch & Clock Repair to see about having it filed down because it was rubbing a sore on my finger.I had 20 diamonds that were perfectly in tact and upon handing the ring over to the owner that started working on my ring, he went to the back of his business with my ring, and then returned back after a few minutes and then I noticed a hole in the ring without a diamond. I explained to him that if he did not put my diamond back in the ring then I would call the authorities, he never did so I contacted the authorities. Now i,am forced to have to take legal steps to be compensated for my loss due to his actions.Desired Settlement: #1 Replacement of the Diamond, or #2 Paid money for the loss Diamond of same quality.

Review: We contacted this Business to repair a Grand father clock that had not been working right for some time ( which he advertises that the does these repairs) He came over and disassembled the clock and took it to his shop for a month charging a 250.00 deposit and another 250.00 when he brought it back again a week after he brought it back it was worse , it was not keeping time and it would stop working , I called him he came and got it again and brought it back after a month and it started to do the same thing again. By this time it was obvious that he did not know what he was doing and all the time and money $ 500.00 we invested in interacting with this guy was a waste and our clock was in no better condition at allDesired Settlement: I would like this guy to refund at least $400.00 of the 500.00 dollars we gave him so we can find someone who knows how to work on Grandfather clocks and finally get it fixed correctly for such a huge amount of money
