I am rejecting this response because:I have more issues with the motor being installed improperlyAnother mechanic stated "calibration if off, need attention ASAP" and the time frame stated in the companies email is incorrect

In the matter of the Ford Contour, this vehicle was picked up by our company at *** boys and towed to our Repair facilityWe diagnosed vehicle with a blown head gasket, informed the customer of the price to replace the motor and informed them we needed a
deposit to start working on vehicleIt was approximately two weeks before we received a depositThe vehicle was repaired in one week which is a turn around on an engine replacementAfter completion our mechanic further diagnosed vehicle with a cooling fan wiring problem which is what caused the original motor to go badIt was approximately $to repair that problemThe customer denied the repair voiding the day warranty on the motor because we cant be held responsible for neglect of repairs that would further damage the replacement motor we had installedWe gave this customer a very fair price for the extensive repairs we did on this vehicleWe even told the customer when she had the money to come back and we would fix it laterWe did exactly what we were paid to do which was replace motor.Any question please contact me - *** *** (Owner) - 856-297- Thank you

The initial deposit was not dropped off right away because of the weather conditions.  When we received the deposit we placed an order for a engine from a local supplier and we were told they had it in stock when they did not.  Once we were informed of the error we made sure to locate a engine in stock and we even went out of state to get the engine so we had it for the customer and could install it.  We guarantee all of our work on the engine install with the exception of the fans because the customer was informed that the fans were not working and they needed to be replaced.  The customer choose not to replace them.

Review: A month ago I dropped my ford contour off at A&R repair to be diagnosed with an issueOnce speaking with a consultant we decided to fix my carThe same consultant sent back and forth with me for about two weeks assuring me my car was in good hands and was being worked onAt one point I called to ask about the car and I was told my car wasn't a priority and there were things being taken car of before my car could be worked onOn Monday march 16th my Father called and spoke to the same consultant and he told my dad @11am my car was being worked onAnd would be finished by the end if the dayWhen I called back @ 4:he told me the repair man wasn't in the shop he had a funeral to go to and my car would be fixed tomorrowSo he lies to me and my father Tuesday march 17th I was told to come and get my carThe repair mechanic mike told me a complete different story and said he received notice of my car on Thursday of the prior week so my car sat on their lot for two weeks before being checkedOnce I got to my car mike told me about another issue with my fans that wasn't an issue beforeAnd I would have to pay 100$ extraI was furious from paying so I wasn't paying any more moneyI will never take my car to A&R motors again!Desired Settlement: I am thinking of taking legal proceedings and asking for restitution as well as the payment of my cars repair from another shop
