Work and Supplies were not used per contract, very poor quality of work, numerous phone calls had to be made to get them out here to work.We spoke with Mr.[redacted] on February 5, 2014 in our home. We discussed with him the work that needed to be done at our home and our son's home that is next door. He went thru the homes and told us exactly what needed to be done and the materials he would use and what his crew would accomplish and how many days it would take. He asked for half of the balance up front so that he could purchase the materials needed for the job. We paid a total of $4,400.00 that day for both homes. One the date they were to start work, he called and stated they were still at another job trying to finish and we said we understood. The crew finally came out on February 12, 2014 and started. On February 13, 2014 Mr.[redacted] came to our home to see how his crew was doing and he asked for payment in full he said his crew did not like handling any of the money. He indicated they would be finished with our home the next day and would finish with our sons home within a couple of days. I thought he was trust worthy so I went ahead and wrote him another check in the amount of $4400.00. On February 14, 2014 the Kguys were packing up to leave for the day (it right after lunch time)and I asked were they done for the day, I was told that they were finished with the jobs completely. Once my son came home and I told him they said they were finished, he felt that was not accurate so he crawled under the his home to see what work was done and there was absolutely nothing done based upon the contract we agreed upon. He made photos of the work that was done and what was not done. I called the office and spoke with his office manager and explained what had not been done and that I was very upset over this. Mr.[redacted] finally called back and finally agreed to come to our home and look at the photos of the work that was done. It took several times for you to come out and I even had to take off a day of work to be there to speak with you. You were very short and said you would have the crew back out to complete the work. When the guys came back they told us that they were following instructions from Mr.[redacted] as what to do under the houses. They were for a few days and then it would be several days that we would not see them. When I called Mr.[redacted] he said "you knew what you were getting me into", I felt this was an accusation that I had tricked him of some sort when in fact we spoke at length about what needed to be done to level the floors and he agreed and said he had the crew that could take care of everything. The crew did return again and called themselves finishing the job. My son once again went under the house to check out the job and still found large mounds and dirt left under the house and some of the foundation supports didn't even touch the bottom of the house. It rained heavily one day and the pump that was put under the house was not working. I called Mr.[redacted] and he stated "I was going to worry the pants off of him", said he would have someone one come out and repair or replace the pump. One of his guys called the next and was going to out but he came during time we were not home, he called the next day and said he would be there that afternoon but I never saw him. Several days went by and I had a phone message from Mr.[redacted] that stated a new pump had been ordered and they would be back by that weekend to install it. I have not heard or seen anyone since that phone message. I do not know if the pump is working or has been replaced by Mr.[redacted] as we have not had any contact with him. At this time I do not want any of his crew nor Mr.[redacted] to return to my home or my son's home. I am tired of trying to resolve this with him. Desired SettlementI am asking that Mr.[redacted] refund a total of $5000.00 to me for poor quality of work, using the wrong supplies that we agreed upon, and the aggravation that I and my family have gone through to get this man to complete the job that we entrusted to him. He took our money very easily but he was very difficult to work with in getting what we had paid for. I feel this man took advantage of me and did not honor the contract and what we agreed upon.Business Response We apologize for taking a little too long to respond to this matter. We would like resolution, and for there are two sides to every story.[redacted] met with Mr. & Mrs.[redacted] on 02/04/14 to giveestimates on both Mr. & Mrs.[redacted] and son [redacted]'s residences. They agreed upon contract, and the work was finished and signed off byJudy[redacted] on 02/18/14.According to my records, the[redacted]s' contacted All Around FloorSupport a month later after the work was performed and demanded morework. We went and did the work they requested at no extra charge' andhave spent over a $1000.00 more than what we all agreed to on thecontract. Now, they are wanting half of their money back for no reason.Enclosed is the signed work order from[redacted], & our last paymentverification for renewal, and both of our binding agreed contracts, signed and datedThank you.Sincerely,[redacted] (owner)

WORK UNSATISFACTORY FINISHING WORK NOT BEING PERFORMED PLEASE CONTACT [redacted] @XXXXXXXXXX AN GET A FINISH DATE WORK HASBEEN PAID FOR IN FULLDesired SettlementSEND A QOALIFIED MAN TO FINISH JOB IMMEDIATELYBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: Thomas [redacted] AttorneyContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@gmail.comDear Mrs. [redacted]:I am responding on behalf of my client, [redacted] to your letter dated March 20, 2014 regarding the [redacted] case. I have examined the contract entered into between All Around Floor Support and Mr. [redacted]. Your complaint information just referred to unsatisfactory finishing work, which makes it somewhat hard to respond. Mr. [redacted] tells me that after the job was completed that the homeowner initially indicated complete satisfaction, but not long thereafter, began, from what information Mr. [redacted] has been told by others who have spoken with the homeowner, complaining about problems with the tile in the bathroom. The only agreement regarding the tile was that All Around Floor Support agreed to grout the tile. The tile were already there, and obviously had some previous problems which resulted in the homeowner requesting that All Around Floor Support put grout on the bathroom tile. All Around Floor Support had another expert look at the job, and the expert has stated that there is nothing that All Around Floor Support did to cause the problems with Mr. [redacted]'s tile, that that problem was already there, and was really the fault of the person who sold this house to Mr. [redacted]. All Around Floor Support has performed their contract and is not responsible for tile which may have been improperly laid years before by the previous owner. The contract did not require All Around Floor Support to do any tile laying work whatsoever, they were simply required to put the grout down. That was done. Mr. [redacted] is requesting that any further complaints or any further communications from yourself or the homeowner regarding this matter be directed to me, as we will vigorously defend any alleged wrongdoing by his company on this job. Sincerely yours, [redacted]

October 3 2014, I gave a large deposit in order for [redacted] to buy materials. He was suppose to put my home on a permanite foundation. Had his workers out to my home. They worked maybe 6 hours a day, approximately 6 days total. Mid December he tells me he doesn't have money to finish project. Talks of having to sell his home or borrow the money to finish. I received a letter dated 1/15/2015 where he has filed chapter 7. I am out of $6500.00, my home is a wreck. No protection from the weather except for the plastic that I put up myself. Not to mention busted water pipe due to freezing temps. and higher utilities.Product_Or_Service: permanet foundationDesired SettlementI want my money back which is highly unlikely, or have him finish what he started.

work was not completed per contract. contractor did not complete work and when he offered refund he did not return my money. My husband, [redacted] and I, [redacted] have hired [redacted] Contractor of All Around Floor Support in September of 2013 to do extensive work in our house and driveway. the total contract was for $46000.00. we have paid [redacted] $26000.00 to begin work, two weeks later he asked for more money to order supp..lies needed for the job. we paid $10000.00 and two weeks later he called again for the rest of the money and we gave him the last $10000.00. In the meantime my husband was diagnosed with cancer and we had to go to treatments for two months, the job at the house continued slowely and I always had to call [redacted] about when it is going to be finished he always put me off that his crew is working on something else or that was not in the contract I had to get a friend of ours who works at the sheriffs department to make phonecalls to him to complete the job. in the meantime my husbands cancer returned and he became bedridden and we were in and out of the hospital for three months. I did not have the time or the thought to argue with [redacted] about the work what was not completed during that time. My husband passed in march of 2014 and he never saw the finished work. after my husbands funeral I got in touch with our friend again and [redacted] finally hired some other workers to finish the job, they stopped work because they did not get paid right then he hired more people to finish inside the house. the work was not 100% but I was glad to get people out of my house. The only job what was left was my driveway and he put me off either because of the weather of death in his family or death in the crews family and finally he told me he will finish in two weeks or give me the money back what was estimated for the driveway.he send a crew that does concretework to my house , the done all the measurements but he never hired them. finally he send me a textmessage that he put more money out on my house then he got and he would not finish . [redacted] took advantage of us during my husbands sickness and after his death he just ignored the contract he signed. I have forty messages from him on my phone about his promises and how he put me off time after time. he is a liar and a cheat and he put a bad name on contractors because of his character. afterwards I heard a lot of talk about him but it was to late because he already got our money. now I am not even sure if he is a licensed contractor in the state of Tennessee. I have not heard from him since December of 2014 and my driveway is still not done nor do I have the money to fix it .Desired Settlementthe estimate on my driveway is $ 10800.00 and I want our money back what we paid him in good faith and trust.

Poor workmanship, poor service, told numerous times they were coming never showedon 4/18/14 I was given a price of #2800.00 to remove one dormer from my roof and re shingle my roof one foot out past the original dormer, fill back in with plywood and put down a layer of felt paper and then tie it all back in to the roof . Roger the owner said that I could put $1200.00 down and pay the rest in installments of $200.00 per month with no interest. Roger told me that he would have men out on the job that Monday and he would set them up, which was 4/20/14. I waited till about 11 and called roger he said he ran into trouble on another job running longer and that they would start my job that Wednesday. Two men showed up about 10:30 in a truck marked all floors introduced themselves, had a copy of my contract in his top shirt pocket. He proceeded to tell me he was hear to remove the three dormers. I told him it was only one not three, showing him which one it was. They worked that day, got the dormer off and now had to go get stock for the job. When they came back they put some plywood and felt paper on the roof as it started raining. said they would be back the next day. that didn't happen no phone call no show. when they took the dormer off they went to our second level inside the house to dismantle it, I took them upstairs to show them it. Not knowing that the first day they had opened a window in a second room and left it opened we don't use upstairs so we never thought to check for open windows seeing they knew it was raining, it wasn't till we drove by the front of the house the next day I realized it was open, lucky that dormer sits over a porch so the only thing that got wet was some of the floor the water went on the porch. Roger had the worker call me and give me excuses after excuse why the couldn't show up. the debris were blown all over my yard ,Glass was broken all over my yard as they throw the windows from the second floor. this debris sat in my yard for several days blowing around all over my walkway George went out to go to the car and fell over some shingles and tar paper. When they put the shingles on the roof you can still see where the whole dormer set they didn't build it up enough to match our roof they didn't take off the old flashing so it looks awful they didn't go out the one foot that I paid extra for, nor to the bottom of the roof their is still glass in my yard. today I tried calling the worker no answer so I tried roger again which never picks up the phone for me he didn't pick up but believe it or not he called me back this time he asked if the worker had called me yesterday I said no he told ne that the workers mother had a heart attack. He said don't worry they would we will fix it make it right. He told me his brother would be out tomorrow I have herd this many times before so I asked really, roger proceeded to tell me that every time he takes on a job for people like me he has a problem and also told me that I probably wasn't going to pay him anyways. I told at least I am a man of my word and we would proceed to small clams court. don't send men I not hanging around any more.
