The staff and doctor were very friendly and professional prior to and during my operationUnfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff after experiencing their complete lack of professionalism and courtesy during the billing processTrouble first started when they billed me up front, out of pocket for the anesthesia for my wisdom teeth extractionUnknown to me at the time, they should NOT be doing this since they are a preferred client for my insurance companyThey then incorrectly billed my insurance for the anesthesia at $0, which means they did not receive payment from *** for any of the medication that they had previously billed me forAfter contacting the office they refused to refund me the $for the anesthesia until they were refunded by ***The decision was made by the insurance coordinator despite it being a result of their unethical business practiceAfter working with the insurance company and insurance coordinator at Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialists, the coordinator agreed to promptly resubmit a bill to my insurance providerUnfortunately, she did not care enough to fill out the paper work correctly, resulting in a denied claimAfter leaving multiple messages for the insurance coordinator and office manager, I have yet to hear anything back from eitherThe operation was in April of 2016, it's now October and I am still out $500, and they are still not returning communicationsThey take advantage of unsuspecting patients, then refuse to accept responsibility for their mistakeIt is a shame that unethical policies and practices can allow this dental office to thriveStay away from Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialist
