[redacted] was informed every step of the way, she even admits we communicated in her complaintThe "Estimate" was $WITH the explanation the estimate was for quarts of transmission fluid AND that we would attempt to remove more fluid to get as much of the proper fluid back into this unitWe were able to remove quarts by cranking but not starting the engine allowing the transmission pump to push a bit more outShe also ADMITS in her complaint that she did, in fact, approve the estimate for the repairsThe extra charge was for the extra quarts of "NS-2" fluid required to fill the transmission to it's proper levelEven with the extra fluid required to fill the transmission to the proper level, we were still quite close to the original estimate for repairs The company she SHOULD be angry with is the repair facility that installed the incorrect fluid into her transmission in the first placeNissan's policy on this particular transmission is "any fluid other than the rating NS-will cause damage to this transmission" Her final bill came out to $PLUS $sales taxThis total is comfortably within estimate lawsALSO, Even though I informed [redacted] there would be a $diagnostic fee, we waived that charge as I couldn't justify the short diagnostic time required to charge her that fee As stated by us previously, We are sorry that [redacted] feels she was wronged as we strive for Quality, timely repairs at a fair priceI believe we have attained that for here and really don't understand why she is so angry at us
