*** *** Vice President ** *** *** ***. I initially spoke with Mrs*** on 4-21-and she asked me if I could help her repair her staircase on the side of the house to pass a Home Inspection as they are selling there house I asked her to send me
pictureof the steps as she said it was urgent that she gets this completed to sell the house I responded to her with an emial on 4-21-at 6:43PM In my email I stated; "To close in the risers with treated lumber and to attach a saftey grab rail to the one side of the railing it will cost $ I would be able to complete it Thurday (4-23-15) afternoon Please let me know if you would like to get on the schedule." She responded on 4-21-at 7:51PM; "That would be great." On 4-23-I went to the lumber yard to get material at 2:PM I then headed to Mrs*** house to complete the job I arrived there at 3: I proceeded to bring my tools and material to the side of the house Mrs*** was not home I worked on the stairs for about an hour and a half I cleeaned up my tools and the jobsite and returned to my truck on the street to call Mrs*** I got a hold of her and she stated she was running late as it was take your child to work day I waited for Mrs*** to arrive at the house at around 4: She came and looked at the stairs and said"That was alll that needed to be done? You are quick." I stated; " I am very efficient at my job." She then asked me; "If the inspector come and your work doesn't pass will you come back and repair it?" I said; " Yes, absolutly There is no reason the work I did will not pass." She called me a couple days later and stated; "The Building inspector came by and left a red sticker on my front door It failed inspection I need you to come back to repair it." I asked her; "What did it fail for? She siad it failed for tread depth." I tried to explain to her that tread depth was not part of what I did She was not having it and started to raise her voice and threaten me She said I would be hearing from her husband Later that day her husband called me and I asked if I could return his call later as I was busy on the job I decided not to call Mr*** back as he was very upset on the phone and did not think the conversation would go anywhere but bad My wife *** *** President ** *** *** ***sent a email to the *** explaining that the work we completed did not fail inspection and we could return for a additional charge to fix the other issue. We then recieved numerous threatening emails from Mrand Mrs*** On 4-28-my wife kindly asked Mr*** to stop harrassing us He threatened to take us to small claims court over the matter We let him know in a couple emails to do that and stop emailing us. This entire situation seemed a litlle wierd My wife the next day on 4-28-went to *** Police deptartment and filed harrasment charges against Mr*** While she was the she talked to the building inspector about the job who stated; " There was a handicap ramp where the stairs where at the house and they were removed and the stairs were built by others a while ago with no permit The risers and the saftey grab rail passed inspection and the reason that they failed is for tread depth." So the work that *** *** completed passed inspection withe the *** building inspector The accusations that Mrand Mrs*** are making are frivolous and un-appreciated ** *** *** as never had a issue with any client since we have been in business As far as thier claim for price gouging; there was a half a day work which it was never stated that it would be a half days work minutes to get material, one hour travel time, one hour minutes work and one hour minutes to return to the office in traffic

We do not feel we took advantage of Mrs. [redacted] nor do we feel we tried to intimidate them. It was not our intention. This was a case of much misunderstanding and misconstrued information. However, we are going to reslove this matter and we will be returning Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] $550.00 to them within the next two business days.
