states "the flashing for the fascial boards will be roofing materials instead of using metal flashing." Based on that email from *** we issued a quote for all needed work/materials based on the inspection report he provided to usThe quote was then signed and returned to Leanna on 8/The tech was scheduled to come out on 8/to do all the quoted work and everything went as planned*** was billed for the amount of the estimate (plus additional charges for more plumbing boots which he agreed upon while the tech was out on 8/10)We have not heard from *** about any discrepancy in the work performed/billedWe are a referral based company and work hard to meet all the needs of each and every customer and this would have been addressed properly if brought to our attention*** was not quoted for any metal flashing on the fascia boards he was quoted for tails which are installed using a piece of composition roofing shingles and that is what was installed by our tech on 8/We feel this complaint was not warranted and no refund is necessary because he signed the quote after stating he wanted no metal flashing on the fascia boards.Sincerely,A Roofing Inc*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:While there was going back and forth between what type of materials to use, I did let the office know (spoke to Leanna on 8/7) to confirm and she stated metal flashings will be used and they do come in gray or white finishAnd since the boards were white, the tech would have the white metal flashings when they come out on 8/Leanna did not advise whether the bid would need to be adjustedThe bid did not provide the type of materials to useAnd since the inferior materials were used versus the metal flashings, I believe an adjustment would be fair which I did indicate to Leanna when I called again on 8/The additional plumbing boots installed were not an issue
