A Royal Wedding DJ

Review: On July 12, 2012, I hired A Royal Wedding DJ, to DJ my wedding on 5/4/2013.The wedding was in a Victorian music hall, [redacted], [redacted], PA. My wedding planner asked him if he was familiar with it he stated yes, and worked there before. We gave him a list of music to play.Wedding day gets here, I find out that his music requires internet, they basically download it. Reception was bad at [redacted]. Long story short, none of my selected music was played, music was choppy due to internet connection and DJ did not have back up CD's. My nephew and aunt had to run to their car, get whatever cd they had on hand, give it to the dj so that it could be played. If they did not do this the whole reception would have been ruined. Our DJ was [redacted]. DJ did not make proper restitution. Only shaved 90.00 off the 745.00 bill and this is totally unacceptable since he practically destroyed our reception. He stated he worked at this site before so you would think he would have been aware of the lack of reception there. This means he lied to me and never had worked in this location. It took me this long to file the complaint because outside of his email, I had no address nor telephone number for this business, all their website gives you is an email contact. I had to do some serious research to get their contact info. I fulfilled my part, provided the music and the payment, they delivered nothing in return.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a 60% refund which totals, excluding the 90.00 he gave the wedding coordinator...$357.00My brother paid the DJ for me as a wedding gift, he is disabled and lives on a fixed budget, and I refuse to let anyone take advantage of him, and much less, ruin my wedding without repercussions.
